IBMB - your passion for hockey is limitless, it doesn’t even require ice anymore!

Ha! Well, I do try to pay a little attention to some non-revenue U-M sports.

I've had a ton of unfortunate run ins with Albany field hockey fans- worst fan base in the country...../s

Wonder how many Albany fans were at the game. Had we still been in Ann Arbor, would have been there supporting the Danes, likely with a Michigan shirt on underneath

Late goal by Tina D'Anjolell, 1-0 U-M at the half.

My last school, but I don't consider it my "alma mater", so I'm rooting for Michigan in this one.

Good choice!

Pretty surprised to see that we're the #4 overall seed. It seemed like we were having more of a down year, which gave the impression that we needed to win the BTT to make the NCAAs (so of course I was super happy when we did just that). Looking at our record I guess we didn't do as poorly as I thought (seems like we would have been an at-large regardless), and apparently the B1G was super tough with three of the top four seeds, plus two more unseeded teams out of 18 (seems like they're doing the play-in games like basketball now...).
At any rate, Go Blue!

Going to OT. Rosie Hope was on a 5 min yellow at 56:35.

Is OT sudden death?
November 11th, 2022 at 1:51 PM ^
NCAA calls it sudden victory, 2x 10 min OT periods.

Rats, they score, 2-1 them, OT final.

U-M 9 shots on goal, 8 saves for UAlbany. Big game for their goalie, unfortunately.
They had 4 SOG, scored twice.

Unfamiliar with the rules, on the last play are they allowed to just take their opponent down to the ground or is that a legit bad no call?

No idea, don't have BTN :Plus, so didn't see it.
