Couldn't have done it better if you put together a band to sound like Led Zepplin...
I'm not familiar enough with their entire music catalog to be a real expert, but when I close my eyes and just listen to individual instruments, I don't hear John Bonham nor Jimmy Page, just wannabes of each of them. The bass player sounds relatively OK (but I'm guessing he doesn't have the multi-instrument virtuosity of John Paul Jones).
Don't get me wrong, I do think they're pretty darn good at what they do, but other than the lead singer (and he doesn't have nearly the stage presence of Robert Plant---very few do), I don't think 'Led Zep' all that much when I listen.
I can’t even carry a tune, let alone assess if a band is any good, but I like the Led Zeppelin “inspired” bands like Greta con fleet and Wolf mother. A friend’s wife was Jimmy Page in an all-girl Zeppelin cover band in LA 20 years ago called Moby Chick. They blew the roof off the Knitting Factory when I saw them. I can’t imagine seeing the real Led Zeppelin. Robert Plant was in the Honeydrippers when I was in high school and I thought he was lame.
With Geddy Lee on vocals.

I have an old stove to sell. Is this the right forum?
No. Only items for sale that belong to your friends. If your friend had a stove to sell, this is where you'd come to sell it for him.
Any relation to Greta Van Susteren???
kind of what i was thinking. who is greta, and is she really that fast? can she play DT?
"$145 per ticket ..."
I'm feeling old.
GVF is selling tickets for $145? Who do they think they are? Led Zeppelin?
You receive an upvote from me for your sense of humor and, more critically, for your Rush fandom.
Can't make it to GR tonight. I have tickets to see MIH at YIA.
I think the Cadillac Fleetwood was a crappy car.Am I on the correct thread😂😂
How much are you offering to pay to take the tickets and see GVF in your stead ?
I can't imagine spending $290 on a concert of any sort. Yes I'm old, but c'mon that's nuts.
I paid $250 face value per ticket in the front row to see Sinatra. But that was Sinatra.
Tina or Frank Jr.?

Frank Sinatra. The father (to steal a line from Home Alone).
$145?!
I remember going to see acts at the Shelter for $10.
That price is outrageous! I just saw Greensky Bluegrass in Indy for less than that. Tickets and hotel combined. They put on a hell of a show. No thanks on Led wannabes.
Now Greensky is one hell of a Michigan band! Just caught them in Detroit last month with the Stringdusters and it was an absolutely amazing show.
Not to mention anyone in gsbg would play those jokers right out of the room. Bluegrass has some of the best pure musicians around. Just a step below classically trained artists and jazz imo.
Why would anybody want to see her or hear her
I paid $100 to see Tool, and a Led Zeppelin cover band is charging $145. The sky is green.
Looking forward to my son’s review when he gets back tomorrow. He scored backstage passes.
