We see the players who are entering the transfer portal.  When can these players actually sign? Will we start to see today where they are going or is there an official signing period? TIA!

we're 13-0, so not much to complain about right?    I think we could use an upgrade at middle linebacker.  Junior Colston didn't make that Sophomore leap this year to elite or even great.  And the jury is still out on Jimmy Rolder.  Can he dominate at this level?  We need a fast, hyper aggressive inside linebacker in the mold of Devin Bush or David Harris.  Dudes that are tackling machines!

While I agree with the sentiment; ie, just because you say something everyone doesn't agree with shouldn't be a bad thing, saying Colson isn't any good is pretty stupid.

Personally, we have 3 playing right now with Rolder. We have 2 others who get playing time at the end of games. That's fine for depth. And enough to move Mullings to RB imho.

The only thing worse than a dumb opinion is someone else telling the author of said opinion to "cite statistics and provide examples'.

Look, we watch the games, most of us, we are entitled to opinions without writing a term paper.

Besides, Seth is pretty hard on Colson. He does add the caveats that Colson has a real hard job, but I keep expecting a cyan some day.

Wish list:

Fentrell Cypress - sounds like we'll need a CB opposite of Will Johnson next year and it would be cool to keep the Virginia to Michigan grad transfer pipeline going.

Miles Hinton - because we should have gotten him in the first place.

Braelon Allen - third on the list because I have big hopes in my heart Corum comes back for his Heisman revenge tour.

Decoldest Crawford - Decoldest

There are intimations on the Twittersphere that a couple of WR’s might bounce as well. I saw suggestions of Wilson, Henning and Andrel. Any thoughts? At first blush if more targets is the desire then you can’t blame them but man to play and have the Michigan Family Experience with the roll they are on seems to be a great opportunity as well. I really thought with JJ back there. Wilson would thrive from the RPO perspective. Andrel has dropped a few of his opportunities. I also thought AJ was hurt, but I noticed he was returning punts and not kick off the last couple of weeks. It will be interesting to see how it turns out The next few days.

Insiders confirmed Andrel is coming back. I wouldn't understand Wilson since he is a top 3 WR. Henning got some run at WR this year and it did not go well at all. Punt returning seems to be his only niche on the team. If they leave, it seems like when all the LB's transferred because Colson and NHG were already passing them. I assume Clemons, Morris and Walker are all pushing and ready to go next season.

1) If you have to start a comment like that, you are what you say you are.

2) Get out of here with that negativity. Every single guy on this roster has given it their all and has proven that this team is a family. If someone chooses to move on, happy trails and best of luck to them. If they choose to stay, they already know what they have and what they're striving for with only room to improve.

Henning wouldn't surprise me at all. The other two would, unless they think they're going to be passed by younger guys. Wilson seems to have a pretty important role, though reduced in the second half of the year.

Henning wouldn't surprise me because he's good with the ball in his hands but his receiving activity has been close to nonexistent for two years. He scored the TD against OSU last year and then barely took a snap for the rest of the game, and the guy playing instead moved to DB the next year. He was overshadowed by other receivers this year, too. Whether it's blocking or routes or hands, it is honestly getting a bit late for him.

This is all rumor stuff, though. I thought we were going to lose receivers last year and we didn't. I thought losing Giles Jackson was a real problem, and it wasn't. So I'll just wait and see.

Good points SJK! I absolutely love the team as it has been constructed. All of the guys seem to be team first guys for the most part. With that being said, I really don’t have a problem with a young man looking for another opportunity. We all do that with careers and what not. I wish all of them nothing but the best. This has been the best two-year stretch of Michigan Football that I can remember. Nothing but love, and will support the heck out of those guys if they do leave with the exception of only if we play them.

He dropped a pass short of the end zone with time running out in the 1995 Michigan - Virginia "Kickoff Classic" game.

It was a blessing in disguise because it stopped the clock and allowed for the walk-off Dreisbach-to-Mercury Hayes touchdown that won the game.

There is still some debate as to whether he dropped it on purpose or not.  I was there and it looked like an actual drop, at least to me.

Also . . . it was hot as hell.

I would not mind getting a senior or grad QB who was or is a starter with a good skill set as a possible backup to JJ next year. I know we have some young guys but I think our next starting QB will be recruited in 2023.

We are losing players and not gaining any. I hope this turns around. I would like to pick up a DE, OL, WR, DB, and a good QB to back up JJ next season.

That and we have lost an injured/backup QB, an injured TE, and a TE so buried on the depth chart even Harbaugh forgot he was there.

It is disappointing the dream TE combo of All and Loveland won't happen but we will be fine. I do think we may look to add another TE via portal.

Lol, a bit OT, but remember when Cullen Christian made everyone wait two hours through his announcement ceremony for him to actually announce where he was going?
