Today's random questions not about hunting and NOT ABOUT JOSH CHRISTOPHER

Submitted by Hensons Mobile… on April 14th, 2020 at 10:31 AM

Apologies to the mgohunter thread but I am pulling the trigger (so to speak) on this thread.

1) Bigger dong punch: 2005 Alamo Bowl vs. Nebraska or 2013 Outback Bowl vs. South Carolina? (Josh Christopher commitment is not an option!)

2) More schadenfreudelicious (let's pretend we care about Minnesota's feelings): Minnesota 2003 or Minnesota 2015? (Reading MGoBoard after Josh Christopher's announcement is not an option!)

3) Better exclamation point: Jourdan Lewis interception vs Wisconsin 2016 or Peppers 2-point conversion return vs MSU 2016? (Josh Christopher highlight video is not an option!)

4) Better internet facts: Jedd Fisch on MGoBoard or Chuck Norris on Twitter? (Josh Christopher on Instagram is not an option!)

5) Better lulz: Aaron Craft biffs his three point attempt at the buzzer (2014 Big Ten semifinals) or Tommy Rees drops the ball behind his head in 2011 inside the five for a turnover? (Josh Christopher recruitment games is not an option!)

My answers:

1) Remember the Alamo.

2) 2003

3) 2-point conversion

4) Jedd Fisch's good shit smells like Rose Bowls.

5) Tommy gets me every time.

1. Can 2018's loss against South Carolina count?

2. I'll have to go with 2015 as I'm not THAT old.

3. Jourdan Lewis. That game was still in legitimate question at the time.

4. Don't know. Don't care.

5. Tommy Rees. Don't remember Aaron Craft's shot.

I was at the MSU game with Peppers 2 point return denying Mork his dignity. That was a thing of beauty and a great memory. The stadium was at least half Michigan fans and some dude kept saying "Harbauggggghhhhh" in a pirate voice the whole game.

1)   2005 Alamo Bowl  - would have been historic if Ecker pitched the damn ball

2)  2003.   That was an easy one... I was still getting over the loss from week before for that 2015 game

EDIT:  I mis-read the question.  Probably still go with 2003 as if I'm not mistaken, Minnesota hadn't beaten Michigan in a very very long time at that point and had a good team that year, so it probably hurt more

3)  Peppers 2 point conversation.  Tough one but the context of not having beat Sparty in 4 years then and we should've put them away earlier

4) No clue

5) Craft

2) If I was a Minnesota fan, 2015 definitely hurts more. That's like a 'wow the opportunity was right in front of us and we still screwed it up. We'll never be good' moment. Like how I felt after the 2018 version of the game. Totally deflating to feel like you're about to exorcise some demons and the same ol thing happens again

3) I'd say Wisconsin. The 2 pt conversion felt a little like a sigh of relief as I was wondering if we were going to find another mathematically improbably way to blow it vs MSU again. 2016 Wisconsin really didn't feel like they were any threat to score and the INT felt like a booyah moment

1. SC game. They were a mediocre team and UM completely shit the bed.

2. 2003

3. Peppers

4. Chuck

5. Tommy. I remember watching that live and just being absolutely flabbergasted at that happening. Justice of the Lord! Still can't explain why it suddenly just slipped out of his hand for no apparent reason.

1. Alamo Bowl was the worst. Sunbelt refs made the game a joke. Ecker pitch it to Breaston.

2. The 2003 comeback was epic but it was more us waking up than being schadenfreude. 2015 was just fucking hilariously bad time management by Minnesota. Nod given to 2015.

3. Lewis. I was at the game and I could not believe he made the play at the time. We were going nuts when it happened. The whole game was tense as we never could pull away from Wisconsin due to missed field goals and general offensive crappiness.

4. Confusing question. The Fisch love is something I have never understood. It's like people think he is a genius because it came after the horrible Hoke era offenses.  If he was such a great mind why is his career so mediocre? If he turns Stidham into a solid NFL qb than maybe I will be converted.

5. Rees. All Notre Dame failures are hilarious af.

Question 4 does seem to be confusing people but you definitely got it. I admit that I have been very much part of the Jedd Fisch has mythical powers camp...and yet every time I think that I then look at his career and can't figure out why he's just plateauing at this one level of almost a coordinator but not quite. It's lateral move to lateral move to lateral move. It's weird.

1. I am also voting for the 2018 loss to South Carolina. Only B1G team to lose that year and they blew a double digit lead.

2. 2003.

3. J. Lew’s INT. Game sealing 1 handed pic in a tight game. Peppers 2 pnt conversion was nice too, but the game was over.

4. ?

5. Tommy Rees for sure. Mostly bc I was there and it was awesome.
