I have a friend who goes to Dordt. He hates it there.
Good times.

who started in the Missouri game got hurt. In the Iowa game. They were 3-2 heading into the Iowa game. Now I doubt that IU would have had a great year with him especially with their schedule, but I think they would have been more competitve in a lot of games with him.

ALSO had a season-ending injury, ALSO against Iowa. Indiana had three B10-caliber QBs on the roster last January (all three started multiple games for IU over the past two years), and two of them transferred. Counting those guys, IU's current QB would be 5th on the depth chart.

Also, OP, this one is pretty good too:

For 2006:
Michigan 27, Vanderbilt 7
Vanderbilt 24, Georgia 22
Georgia 37, Auburn 15
Auburn 27, Florida 17
So 2006 Michigan was 54 points "better" than 2006 Florida.
(And yes, that's entirely tongue in cheek. Don't make me add an /s.)

The tiny D3 college I went to is supposedly 438 points better than Alabama. Sure.

That's an amusing link. I thought of another tiny college, and got even more hyperbolic results. Apparentlly, the transitive property predicts that a tiny college in rural AR would score a TD (+XP) per minute against Alabama (providing that they shut out their offense.

Haha, I have a lot of friends that go to Dordt. I didn't even know they had a football team to be honest.

Every school that beat Indiana is better than Alabama...y'all know of any schools this blog follows that fit that description?

Dordt was recruiting BACKUPS at my high school in recent years. It would be a literal bloodbath if they played Alabama.

Or do you really think that's "Gatorade" Alabama puts in those coolers?

If head to head is "overrated" as a metric, then why bother playing the games at all?

This could be a new strategy Michigan employs to go undefeated each year.

Ha that's funny. My wife actually got her master's from Dordt because it was insanely cheap and gave her an auto salary boost. I still use the lanyard she got me from there.

Love it. This is all made possible thanks to Indiana's win over Mizzou. The B1G's two marquee non-conference wins this season belong to Indiana and Northwestern.
Thanks, Indiana and Northwestern.

If Mizzou wins the SEC, Indiana is better than the entire Southeastern Conference!

My nephew came awfully close to going to Dordt to play hoops, but he went to Central (Pella, Iowa) for a year, and then he ended up at Iowa State (thank God).
