That was interesting. The background music was only mildly annoying, but not terrible.
Yale's win total seemed to stall at 717 wins for years. They still have a football team, and I find it hard to believe they would have been winless for that many years.

I believe their wins stopped "counting" when they were no longer the equivalent of a D-1 FBS team.

It says in 1981 the Ivy leagues dropped out of FBS.

Yale currently has 912 wins. (Information may be outdated)

Odd to visualize, what with how long Yale stays on top, how long it takes ND to move up, and especially how late OSU joins the party. Also, this animation debunks the notion that Michigan was only relavant 100 years ago. Just check out how well we performed from the 70's to 2010 or so.

These numbers aren't correct. It shows Michigan with 950, when it had 976 at the end of 2021. Ohio State is shown with just 822, when it had 942 at the end of 2021. Not sure where the video creator got the numbers.

The Stassen website lets you do wins and winning percentage (among other things) for whatever range of years you choose. We definitely do benefit from our wins from before the modern era (forward pass, four downs, etc.) but we are still always among the top teams.
As for Yale and the other Ivies, you can see their totals at this Wikipedia page. If you continue counting after they left Division 1, Yale has 921 wins, good enough for seventh place.

I remember a time when Michigan and Notre Dame were playing each other essentially for a battle of who had the best all-time winning percentage. I see that isn't a thing anymore.
All-time wins is becoming under threat, as well.

Well, we got back above Notre Dame this year in winning percentage, but Alabama and Ohio State will be harder to catch.
It's interesting how close the top five are (OSU .732, Alabama .731, Michigan .730, Notre Dame .730, Oklahoma .728), and then how far below everyone else is (#6 is Texas at .702).

This doesn't seem very accurate. Michigan currently has 984 wins. Ohio State and Bama have been bouncing back and forth at #2 for a couple years now.

Michigan will be the first college football team at any level to reach 1,000 wins.
Very cool.

It’s annoying that OSU and Bama with their consistent 11-13 win seasons have over taken us in all time winning pct at .731 with us and ND tied at .730

Ohio win total this century sucks to look at but they're second to.........
Oklahoma (3rd really if you count Boise St.)
OU 244 - 56
BSU 237 - 52
Ohio 233 - 46
UGA 228 - 70
Clemson 224 - 75
Sucks even more to look at Win %
Ohio .830
BSU .822
OU .818
Bama .762
UGA .759
(win totals include this yr. win% doesn't)
