Thursday Night NFL Opener - Lions v. KC

Mates,
NFL starts tonight and the Lions are in KC to start the season against the Chiefs.  I think the point spread is 4.5 pts, and I'm told the Chiefs are going to be without their all-everything TE, Kelce.

I can't tell you much about either roster other than of course Hutchinson playing for our hometown Lions.

I think the Lions will have a respectable season but tough, tough way to open the season on the road vs. the defending Super Bowl champs.

Who is going to win tonight?

And for the Fantasy Football folks, do you have anyone playing tonight?

Go Lions, March on down that Field!

Torn between wanting the Lions to do well and finally have something to cheer about and needing Mahomes to have a monster night for my fantasy team.

How about some kind of 45-42 win for the Lions where Mahomes throws five TD passes, runs for one, but gets sacked by Hutch 3-4 times.

Lions are not my team. Only reason I’d cheer for them is because of Hutch, and also because they've had literally nothing to cheer for in decades and I’d like to see their misery end. But if they don't win, its really no skin off my behind.

I’m from Tampa, so even though I haven’t been a truly devoted fan of the Bucs in a while (haven’t lived there since ‘08), if I have to have a team, they’d be it.

What does Hutchinson have to do to get a holding call? He was necktied on one play and pulled from behind on another. Since when did B1G Refs start doing NFL games?
