Thank you Jake Rudock POSBANG!

While the game has a little time remaining, Jake's career has probably come to its conclusion. Thank you for your leadership, toughness and ability to throw the long ball! -_- ! It's been a fun to watch you evolve this year, best of luck moving forward!

While his nfl career is tbd, Michigan fans should look at Jake the way Sconnies look at Russell. Sure he was only here for a year but my goodness did he make a difference. Harbaugh was always destined to succeed here but Jake accelerated that process by a full year, maybe two. 10 wins and a potential top ten ranking in year 1 (?!) is gonna lead us to a top 5 (maybe higher) recruiting class.... Thanks Jake!

I am very impressed with Rudock. His improvement and poise this season has been incredible. I really hope he gets drafted. Thanks Jake! Forever Go Blue!

The improvement Rudock made over the course of this season is incredible.  Credit both he and Harbaugh for that.  Makes you excited to see how future QBs will grow and improve under Jim's tutelage.

Absolutely. I've heard of a QB having to throw the ball through a "tight window," but Jake threw that ball through a porthole.

And young Mr. Perry had himself a day as well. One more weapon for Jake's successor next fall.

Got into a Twitter argument with Solid Veral over this.  SV says Rudock had a good year, but when giving him credit for finishing with 2nd most passing yards in a season at Michigan, you have to dock him because he got to play a 13th game, and guys these days have so many more passing attempts.   So from now on, no giving guys credit for record-setting seasons unless you deconstruct the circumstances to determine if credit is actually deserved.  Anybody could have had the season Rudock just had, apparently, if given 13 games and enough passing attempts.

No Asterisk...he threw for 3000 yards.  Period.  I'm not saying this season was better than any others, but it was a very good season and was exactly what our program needed at the time, especially knowing what the alternative at that position was.

Just broke 3K. Well deserved. Amazing to see the transformation throughout the year with this guy. Turned into a truly legit QB.

A lot of people wanted him benched at the beginning of the year but once he learned the offense he was fantastic. Hats off to you sir, truely one of the most underrated QBs we've ever had.

I believe Shane has been developing all year. Harbaugh has been working with him and Shane is coming back to complete for the starting position. We will see a different Shane in the spring.
