I wouldn't hate switching genres every now and then if I could actually get ahold of some Blanton's, though.
I brought some Bowmore home after our visit in Scotland. So many choices from Islay
Champagne. Straight from the bottle. Says 1903, so I hope it's still good.
I regard Miller High Life among the most highly underrated macrobrews.
Just binged FX/Hulu The Bear, best kitchen show I’ve ever seen, highly recommend! Making some Italian beef inspired red chile beef enchiladas and calabacitas as a result.
Sipping on a 2 rum, 3 fruit juice painkiller knockoff cuz it’s hot as hell and it takes the edge off. Switching to chilled Tempranillo with the enchiladas, Pinhook high proof bourbon (the pink top!) and some barrell bourbon batch 33 on deck for after dinner.
I binged The Bear last weekend. Also highly recommend.
Bottle of white?
Bottle of red?
Perhaps a bottle of rose instead!
Have a nice weekend…and Shabbat Shalom to my fellow MGoTribespeople!

I'd recommend that one right there. The one on the shelf in the bottle. You see it?
Just finished a Samichlaus from Eggenberg in Austria. Gold in a glass. 14%. They call it a tripel, I think of it as a barleywine. Now thinking about what to have next. Tough act to follow.
Also, eff the Astros.
Honey Jack and Limoncello on the rocks. Just a nice late evening sipper to help me fall asleep once it cools down sufficiently.
Grey Whale Gin tonight. If you can get your hands on it, get it
Just got to Nashville about an hour and a half ago to hang out with my 94 year old grandmother. Had a late dinner with the greatest woman in the world.
Shes in bed and I’m on the porch with the cooler next to me smoking Blue Dream and drinking PBR. Life is hard, but it is good.
In the immortal words of The Commander, George Frayne, "one drink of wine, two drinks of gin".
