Stephen Herron Jr Falls in latest rankings

Submitted by Footdog on

Herron falls to 101 from 86, just outside of the top 100. Not wishing any kid bad things but it does hurt losing him a little less. Ojabo climbed from 319 to 293 and likely will climb considerably more by the end of the season. Go Blue

Lol. This is awesome because you are walking proof of how much certain folks on the left stereotype conservatives despite being self-proclaimed "tolerant" people.

Yeah, I've talked openly about being a conservative when pressed. Obviously you've seen those comments. But I've also been very honest about my dislike for Trump, which you must have missed.

Well done.

Last I checked, Michigan still has Don Brown. His overall scheme trumps any single player. Herron who?

For those who live for finding reasons to whine and complain.

Based on the talk about the type of player Herron is now it sounds like Ojabo is the same type of player.  Both are athletic but need development & aren't year 1 guys so it almost feels like getting Ojabo was a preemptive strike with Herron's decommitment in mind

"Both are athletic but need development & aren't year 1 guys"

Ojabo is much more athletic than Herron. Wouldn't be shocked if Ojabo was higher ranked than Herron by the time signing day comes since the only reason Ojabo is lower ranked is due to that he's only played football for 1 year

I can’t comment on athleticism, but based on size I always thought DiCosmo was more of a comparable to Herron...I.e. a bit too short to be a true WDE and thus more of a OLB/pass rusher hybrid (or a true OLB in a 3-4 which is obviously N/A at Michigan in terms of a base set).

At the Opening he looked out of shape and way over matched versus other 4* so this is no surprise.  He probably should have dropped further.  In the end, he might not have been a take and was just be allowed to wait on the Stanford early decision to move on.

Agree - Herron is obviously not the potential 5-Star we were hoping for when he committed but is still a (potentially) very good football prospect.  Z. Harrison also looked less than stellar in some reps at the opening but he gets more of a pass due to his off-the-charts athleticism.

A kid drops 15 spots in recruiting rankings (before he has ever played a snap in college football) and that makes it 'hurt losing him a little less?'.

Yikes man, I would hate to see your reaction to a committed recruit dropping lol.
