#17 nationally-ranked St. Thomas Aquinas (Ft. Lauderdale) beat Edgewater (Orlando) in the 7A Florida state championship game for the 2nd consecutive year.  This is the 12th state championship for STA. Ja’Den McBurrows got a critical pick 6.  Jaydon Hood got a turnover of his own by stripping the ball out of the RBs hand (bonus points that it was Alabama-bound RB commit Christian Leary).

You gotta love winning players making winning plays on the big stage. Cannot wait to have these two in the fold. All your J Dens are belong to us.

If Mayfield had stayed, we could’ve had a Jaylen, two Jalens, Ja’Den, Jaydon, Aidan, Braiden and Caden on next year’s team, along with our various Hills and Greens.
