Let's at least fast forward through April. 11 days in and this month has sucked pretty bad so far. 2 lost final four games, a canceled spring game and taxes are due next week. Whether or not you are getting a refund, the time spent preparing is a pain in the ass.

Anyone know how weather factors into the NCAA limit on practice hours? I doubt Harbaugh would want to waste any one of his 15 practices. If he may only be able to get 1-2 hours of practice in during a 4 hour window, it's probably better they just practice indoors...

Cause of shit storm it would create but has there been any discussion here about Harbaugh being the only Michigan HC to not tweet congrats to Beilein after M won the B1G Championship and then him not attending the National Championship game cause he was too busy with spring football?

Edit: Early voting returns on my question reafirm my decision to not create a post on the subject was a good one.  But can anybody answer if it was discussed?  Is there a reason - it just seems odd.

No.  And why should there be?  Harbaugh was in up to his ears with Spring camp responsiilities.  Do you think Beilein would give up a practice, or two, or a game, to go watch a football game in January?  I don't...

As for tweeting anything, who cares.  We know they spoke because Harbaugh said so on his Podcast.  In fact, he got the whole story about Beilein's uncles being buried at Normandy.  Your twitt bashing is unfounded...

“Congratulations on the big 〽️ win & trip to the Final Four! Fun to watch our team, expertly coached, extremely talented & great Team chemistry! Familar territory for Michigan teams coached by @johnbeilein. Proud of the way the fans & the team represented our great university.”

Of course you can ask questions. If you ask questions, expect to get some in return though. Does Harbaugh have to publicly congratulate Beilein after he successfully wins every major game? After he gets a big recruit? After he successfully wipes his ass? Personally I don’t really care. If the football team had gone to the playoffs by now or won a championship, no one would give two shits about what Harbaugh tweets/doesn’t tweet. Because he hasn’t lived up to some people’s standards though, everything he does or doesn’t do gets picked apart. I prefer to care about what goes on on-field.

Read what I said.  I said after the B1G Championship game, not the elite 8 game.

Seriously - why does this simle question get everybody in an uproar?  I offered no color, no opinion, nothing yet every response indicates my question was read as if I posted something negative when all I did was ask - was this discussed?

You guys are REALLY on a hair-trigger on this.

Because by asking that you're implying that it needs to be discussed because it's noteworthy for some reason and it's not. He's tweeted congrats to the basketball game on multiple occasions. He had an obligation on the day of the championship game: the thing we pay him millions of dollars to do. You know exactly why you raised the question, and I'm sick of the loony conspiracy theorists in the fanbase.

I asked because it was brought to my attention yesterday and I did not know of it until yesterday.  Look, I dont give two shits if he even speaks to Beilein or not - I simply wanted to know if there was ever a discussion on the topic cause I didnt know about it until yesterday.  My brother who lives in Michigan asked me if I knew why and even asked "did your buddies on MgoBlog talk about this at all?"

And please dont imply I'm some "loony conspiracy theorist" because I ask if a particular topic had been discussed here.  You know me bettter than that.

I do have to tell you guys this little mini-thread definitely reinforces some of the negative comments about this place I've read recently.  I'm a big boy and can take it but god help a newbie if they asked this - it would be the last time you'd see them here.  I would get it if i had even hinted at something negative, I didnt.  I didnt imply it, i didnt insinuate it, i did NOTHING but ask a simple question.

Save the attacks for when there actually is something said negaive instead of trying to read my mind on what I'm REALLY trying to say.

If he had shown up, he would have received criticism for making himself the center of attention, for skipping out on his own team's practices, for not focusing on football, and almost inevitably for not reacting properly in some situation or another--because of course the cameras would have focused on him even more than they did on Sister Jean.

I don't blame him one bit for not showing up, and have a hard time understanding people who (implicitly) criticise him for making that choice.  There certainly isn't anything "odd" about the choice he made.

Mr. Harbaugh has repeatedly expressed support (by showing up at games and also by supporting them on Twitter) for many of Michigan's sports teams, including the men's basketball team.  If anybody wants to imply that he is not sufficiently supportive of Michigan men's basketball or Michigan hockey or whatever, fine...but they are wrong.

Not sure if you listen to Harbaugh's podcast, but he constantly sings Beilein's praises on there.  He is having Beilein talk to the team and he invited Beilein and the basketball team to go to Paris with the football team. Doesn't sound like guys with an issue with each other.

I'm not sure what the point of your post was but if it is to imply that Harbaugh and Beilein have a problem with each other I think it has been overblown by people reading into certain things.

If I were to play arm chair pyschiatrist maybe Harbaugh kept a little distance because of Tom Crean and now that he is gone he is free to embrace the basketball team more.

Either way I don't think there is an issue between the 2 coaches.  If your strictly asking about the tweet well I think that is a nothing and you should feel bad.   That's like women getting upset on Facebook because someone didn't like their photo of their kid.

When will the spring game be moved to late April instead of early April? I know, there's always the opportunity for rain, but at least it will be warmer in the average year, right?

I'm thrilled this happened for a variety of reasons. Now I don't have to get soaked in The Big House for the 3rd time this athletic calendar. Plus my girlfriend wanted to go to this for her first time in the stadium but I would much rather it be the home opener when the place is full.
