Hmmmm. Yoder might have been wrong?
I only trust Yoda, "Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, and hate leads to suffering. And that is the path to the Dark Side."
September 20th, 2019 at 4:04 PM ^
Yoder being wrong? Well, I never!
September 20th, 2019 at 4:40 PM ^
I have no idea why people follow a bunch of hacks, Chat Sports is garbage, Yoder is trash, this Kyle dude can't even maintain whatever deadbeat reporter job they had at Bucknuts or some dumb Ohio State site (dumbest name ever for a blog btw). Yet people still fall for their crap. This amazes me.
September 20th, 2019 at 5:02 PM ^
Just mean retweeters, each and every one. When that fails they take the low road.
September 20th, 2019 at 5:27 PM ^
Maybe hes in for this game and then hes going to elect to have his scope or whatever and be out for a few weeks. If it is just a few weeks hell miss I dont know why he didnt have it right after the Army game unless they knew they wanted to use him against Wisco
September 20th, 2019 at 5:32 PM ^
I’m pretty sure he’s going to have the operation during the game. On the field. Harbaugh is going freak out when he gets hit with another “intent to be deceptive” penalty.
September 20th, 2019 at 6:24 PM ^
Only if Wisconsin has the proper medical facilities on the field.
September 20th, 2019 at 6:30 PM ^
Sucks we aren’t playing at Purdue this year.
September 20th, 2019 at 6:17 PM ^
I do like his popcorn though
September 20th, 2019 at 8:49 PM ^
Wasn’t one of the options always alleged to be “pain management”? If so, he’d travel and be a game time decision. The only thing you can read from these tea leaves is that he isn’t a scratch at this point. Yoder or the 11 W blogger could both be dead wrong, but we don’t know that just because he travelled. With that being said, if you travel you are way more than 50/50 to play, they must feel reasonably optimistic that he will play.
September 20th, 2019 at 10:08 PM ^
Nobody should have believed Yoder or that OSU guy. What does crack me up is apparently he doubled down on Charbonnet apparently being forced to play while hurt, which is the type of bullshit that led to the school sending out that press release in the first place. It's one thing to be wrong, but people who keep giving him the benefit of the doubt are just giving him permission to make up some pretty inflammatory stuff about college students.
September 20th, 2019 at 11:15 PM ^
Well said!
September 21st, 2019 at 9:04 AM ^
Unfortunately, while the rest of the team heads to Madison, Zach is going to Cancun for an early spring break. /s
September 20th, 2019 at 4:02 PM ^
He's not traveling to not play, good news!
September 20th, 2019 at 4:08 PM ^
Would they even bring someone unlikely to be a "go", rather than giving the spot to a 3rd/4th stringer that would otherwise stay home?
If not, and DPJ or Dwumfour sightings?
September 20th, 2019 at 4:13 PM ^
My thinking exactly. No reason to bring someone who's a "no go" when you have limits on the road.
They really needed to post more than four photos!
September 20th, 2019 at 4:47 PM ^
Yeah, I forget the numbers. Dammit, I'm going to have to look it up.
(beep-boop-bop)
Home team can dress 95 but only play 80. Road team can only send and play 70. Michigan already has to sit at least 15 scholarship guys, probably more if any walk-ons are relevant.
September 20th, 2019 at 6:56 PM ^
Big 10 changed it to 74 last year
September 20th, 2019 at 4:47 PM ^
If a guy is definitely out, he doesn't travel.
September 20th, 2019 at 4:06 PM ^
Traveling?
He plays for Coach Howard too?
September 20th, 2019 at 8:20 PM ^
I mean, he does look enough like Eli Brooks that we could probably sneak him a few looks at the 2.
September 20th, 2019 at 4:06 PM ^
he even protected Shea from an unruly fan seeking an autograph while waiting for the bus, how does he do it!!???
Can't wait for this game! Go Blue!
September 20th, 2019 at 4:08 PM ^
That is first class pass protection - he may just have a future in the secret service (after a long NFL career of course).
September 20th, 2019 at 4:08 PM ^
Want to be optimistic, but does that mean he will play and even if he does that he won't be limited? I honestly think the rumor was half true that he did tweak his knee and he is trying play through it.
September 20th, 2019 at 4:11 PM ^
No way. The doctors control all medical opinions. Based on their decision, he's either in or out.
September 20th, 2019 at 4:15 PM ^
Didn't mean to imply the staff is calling the shots on that, bad phrasing. More meant that the training staff and coaching staff might be trying to gauge where his pain level is at if he did indeed tweak it.
September 20th, 2019 at 5:06 PM ^
If he's walking we need to start pumping Jocko Willink's podcasts into his headphones asap. That will cure anything short of an amputation.
September 20th, 2019 at 4:57 PM ^
He would not be traveling if he wasn't playing. The team can only bring so many players on the road.
September 20th, 2019 at 9:15 PM ^
You should be optimistic.
There never was any real evidence that he was ever injured. Don't allow unsubstantiated rumors to dictate your opinions. If you hear a credible rumor look for a reasonable source to corroborate it. No credible source ever suggested this was ever true.
September 20th, 2019 at 4:09 PM ^
Traveling? Meaning he's in the Transfer Portal????
BPONE strikes!!!!
Or maybe it was all just a bunch of nonsense....
September 20th, 2019 at 4:20 PM ^
you might be right, let's bum rush his dad's twitter account to try and find out!
September 20th, 2019 at 6:36 PM ^
While you’re at it, can you update the board on the status of his plumbing?
September 20th, 2019 at 4:10 PM ^
Won't believe it till I hear it from counter strike guy
September 20th, 2019 at 4:10 PM ^
That's great news but I'll feel a lot better when I see him take the field.
September 20th, 2019 at 4:12 PM ^
Good news, but after seeing his Dad's tweet yesterday, I'm not surprised he's fine.
September 20th, 2019 at 4:14 PM ^
Isn't that actually Tru behind him too?
September 20th, 2019 at 4:35 PM ^
Pretty sure that the the lower photo is not from today. That looks like the team walking into the Big House.
I think that's just intended to confirm that the headphones in the top photo belong to Charbonnet.
September 20th, 2019 at 4:49 PM ^
Unless he borrowed them from someone....
September 20th, 2019 at 4:15 PM ^
FWIW, someone really needs to dropkick Yoder.
September 20th, 2019 at 4:20 PM ^
What did Yoder say? was it in a youtube video or twitter or something?
September 20th, 2019 at 4:40 PM ^
I won't link or screenshot but he posted that a "source" has stated that “If Charbonnet sees the field tomorrow - Michigan could have a Shane Morris Part 2 national scandal on their hands."
Harbaugh and Warde banning him at the beginning of the year has really set him on a destructive path.
September 20th, 2019 at 8:19 PM ^
This is so stupid for numerous reasons.
1) If Shane Morris played on a messed up knee or torn ACL or broken foot, everyone who cares to write about it would commend him for his efforts. He had a concussion. That is why all the torches were lit.
2) In no way has Charbonnet ever been linked to a concussion, literally the only injury that a "national scandal" would erupt over.
Yoder is dumber than I thought. I have never commented about him until now. This. Is. So. Dumb.
September 20th, 2019 at 4:15 PM ^
This post title is improved greatly if read in the Gossip Girl cadence.
September 20th, 2019 at 4:15 PM ^
But wait! What's that expression on his face? Somebody find an FBI profiler to determine if that's an "I'm a bad man and I'm ready to roll" or an "I'm putting on a brave face in light of my career ending injury" look.
For that matter, why doesn't mogoblog already have an FBI profiler on retainer for just these sort of program-defining moments?
September 20th, 2019 at 4:16 PM ^
Cleary that’s his doppelgänger Chack Zarbonnet who is merely a student equipment manager. Zach is having emergency surgery hoping to not have to amputate his knee. Harbaugh will get fined and a 15 yard penalty at the start of the game for intent-to-deceive Wiscy and the media.
This is Michigan and we can’t have nice things
September 20th, 2019 at 4:25 PM ^
they are going to put Chack in at FB in short yardage.... well, according to an Ohio graduate who handed me a cart at Walmart
