per the twitter
My sources can confirm that Jedd Fisch will be the next Offensive Coordinator at Mizzou

Mizzou does feel a bit like UCLA East - great QB play and questionable defense. My guess is he lights it up in the SEC East.

So we're not firing Pep and Drevno and hiring Fisch to be OC? I gotta go back and have a talk with that Santa at the mall.

They had a big offense last year thanks to being super up tempo spread it out and throw. That's been their brand for a long time too going back to Pinkel. I'm not sure I see the wisdom of futzing with that and going pro style.
I know everyone loves Jedd here, but the guy's track record is pretty spotty aside from his time with Harbaugh, and well, it's with Harbaugh. A lot of people seem to want to canonize a guy for having the good forture to be at Michigan when it had upper classman wide receivers and quarterbacks.

Does anyone find this Fischy that this occurred on early signing day? Was his job to hold onto UCLA's recruits and then exit? I know that's the reality now and good move for Fisch (wish him well) but the timing is just a bit odd.

Good Move for him.
Mizzou has potential and they definitely need some creativity on offense.

If the '18 offense struggles, would not mind seeing Pep and Drevno "sent to be successful elsewhere" Jed brought on as OC, Frey retained as O-Line coach, great recruiting WR coach added to staff... adding that to my Jump to Conclusions Mat

We all know its coming. Why wait?

Were there any other options besides Mizzou? It's a good move for him either way and I wish him luck. I'm just curious if he had other options or just had to go with what was available then because Chip was most likely pushing him out...

Well, the head coach at his place of employment this past season just got fired, and they'll be running a very different system now.

Chip Kelly will have an OC. For example, Mark Helfrich - Kelly's successor at Oregon - was the OC under Kelly.

he does not work well with others. But to be fair this is only his 3rd college job since leaving Florida in 2000. Michigan for 2 years, UCLA for 1.

What the crap?
I thought Drevno was heading back to Cali and we were going to get JF back. We've been handcuffed the last 2 years with lackluster QB play but even still the game plans have been head scratching at times.

many good things from Fisch for awhile. Mizzou football is tanking. This was a curious job for him to take, surely there must be something better somewhere.
UCLA wasn't an offense problem.
