Solid PWO from Traverse City
Christian Boivin signed as a PWO. First team all state strong safety. Good pick up and if nothing else he should be a demon on special teams. 6'1" 205 and his tape is impressive.

Good for him getting himself two scholarships.

Not on scholarship unless he received an academic one. Though I’m not sure if that would be allowed in football, as it seems like a loophole that could be exploited to remain below scholarship limits.

This is what I get for trying to be sarcastic before 6am. I downvote myself.

Two PWO offers is still pretty impressive for a single person though *shrugs*

Good to see my town sending more kids to Michigan then state, hopefully Josh Burnham will be the next guy. He has Bama and Clemson looking at him so it could be tough.

His film is impressive. Level of competition isn't that great up north but still. He's a good looking RB, too. A little surprised he isn't rated at all by 247. He looks like the kind of player who goes totally unnoticed, goes to Navy, Army or Air Force and ends up being a stud.

Every dude this kid hits get blasted back at least three yards. Literally no yards after contact. Impressive. As OP mentioned, seems to be a lock for special teams time. Maybe not athletic enough to be a standout safety, but perhaps could grow into hybrid/viper type defender.

Wow, what an impressive open field tackler. Looks like he has enough agility/speed to cut it at the next level. Not a lot of coverage plays on tape. If DB were still running the defense he'd probably be a good candidate to bulk up and play VIPER.
