So... What are you doing this weekend

I will not lable this OT... As Independence is never off topic!!!! Murica! So I ask you, how are you spending this lovely weekend as we celebrate our severance from the King? I will be in Oscoda, on the mouth of the Au Sable river. Probably will anchor the father inlaws boat out in on Lake Huron and sleep off shore. I'll be Doing some fishing, jet skiing , wake boarding, spending time with the inlaws, BBQ'n and teaching my 19 week old Rottweiler Hendrix how to swim and what it's like to be a lake dog! What are your plans? Be safe, don't lose any fingers with the fireworks, enjoy your time with family, wether across Michigan is looking beautiful this weekend. And as always, God Bless America and the Univeristy of Michigan. GO red, white and most importantly BLUE! Sorry for the format. iPhone post. :/

Stuck in Ohio

My wife is done teaching summer school in Michigan and is coming to Boardman Ohio where I live to join me for the rest of her summer break. (She works in Michigan, I work in Youngstown). I'll be grilling, drinking, round of golf and tuning up my Triumph TR6.

I personally am heading to Busan, South Korea because I have not seen the water in about 6 months now and I miss it.  This is the first time in my life I have lived more than 15 minutes from the water and its bringing me down.  But at this posting only 63 days and 12 hrs until Michigan Football!

I'll be camping on the beach in Grand Haven. And by camping I mean staying in my aunt's rather fancy camper. It's more small mobile cottage than tent, but you won't find me complaining. The weekend is sure to include plenty of the 4 B's: beach, boats, BBQ, and beers.

celebrating my bday which is the 4th....37 yrs old...yikes! have my in-laws coming in as a surprise for my wife's 40th which is the 6th....have a surprise party planned for Sunday evening...it's gonna be a great weekend

I have my wife's parents coming in from NJ as a surprise for my wife's 40th which is the 6th....have a surprise party planned for Sunday evening with around 50 friends coming...Have a surprise Suv set up to be delivered to give to my wife as a bday present....it's gonna be a great weekend!!! Go Blue!!! Harbaugh!!!

We're heading up north (about 20 minutes north of Traverse) for a week. Leaving the 98 degree temperature here in Texas. Looking forward to pleasant weather, golf, reading some books, swimming in Traverse Bay, and just relaxing.

Working tonight, off at 0630 tomorrow, then off for the weekend. Going to install exhaust and a shifter on the car then head over to a friend's lake house for 4th of July festivities. Then take my nephew to go watch fireworks.
