So what are some of the possible silver lining to this sports shutdown?

Serious, or snarky, where can you find something to look on the bright side about with all sports being shutdown over the Coronavirus?

An increase in Perspective posts...

And I have hundreds...if not thousands of hours of football and basketball game film of my son to review.

Be a blessing to others.

Everybody in this whole damn society has been saying they are overloaded and stressed out.

And now, suddenly, there is time to chill.

So do it.

No stories about that slimy fuck Izzo. He has still been all over the place and he needs to go away. Stop crying no one cares.

On a grand scale, air pollution in China, Italy, and presumably other places (including the USA) has dropped off during these shutdowns.

Lack of air quality in China is no joke.  They've had to reinvent the machines which measure particulates because technology common elsewhere cannot read all the pollution in China.  It's off the scale.

I've not been able to look out my hotel window and see the building 2 blocks over.

It's brought us closer together as human beings as we realize we're all in this thing together?

LOL just kidding, I was just at Target and they're sold out of taco shells because... Taco Tuesday Preppers, I guess? Now I'm going to have to have soft tacos like an animal.

Home improvement. Cleaned out the garage this morning, hung up a new bathroom lighting fixture after work last night, mounted the new dresser to the wall in our baby's room before he shows up in July, cleaned the driveway, and just cleaning the house up in general. Had contractors in and out the last two weeks for a bathroom remodel so its gotten a little messy around here. Tomorrow I'll be hanging up the last new lighting fixture.

Going to start prepping dinner in a little bit (short ribs), making a cheesecake for the first time, and I'm sure we'll find a movie to watch later tonight and just relax. After the wife inevitably passes out before me, I'll probably stay up and play Fallen Order for a bit.

If I can't sit on my ass and watch college basketball, I might as well be halfway productive and get things done around the house.

Working all weekend unfortunately.

I think people think because we're holed up at home now, we can be more productive (no commute, no meetings, no flights, etc.)

I have 8 reports due on Monday and will not get all of them finished.

Assuming Michigan gets to stack a month of spring football with fall camp, say have a 2 month camp in July and August, could be a very good thing for our QBs getting lots of good reps without the months long break.

I get to make Love to my Wife with unbridled pleasure over and over and over again. And I am 61. Elderly by CDC standards. But not mine. Lol.
