O-line = not so good
Backs in pass pro = pretty terrible
The D wears people down. By the 4th quarter, you can feel the pressure taking a toll.

Ty Isaac could use a little more Mr Smith in pass protection
Michigan needs DPJ to shed his skin and become the number one receiver sometime before mid-November

Overall, this was an incredibly encouraging game for the offense!
QB Performance
JOHN O"KORN!!!! It's incredible tht we have an offfense that can connect quick passses to productively get first downs. Obviously, I hope Speight is okay, we need him to be our backup (a pretty decent one btw) but it's a no-brainer who our starter is. This was not the panicking-when-under-any-pressure JOK we were used to. This was a calm, collected, and effective tool to score some points when needed. Very exciting. I really hope this stays consistent because if it doesn't than that will suck.
WR/TE Performance
They got the job done. I thought that their inability to make great decisions (or even catches) last week went away for the most part. THere were glimpses of it, but everything changes when you have a QB getting the ball to his recievers effectively. Then, mistkes become WAY less costly than they were last week.
RB Performance
Not necessarily impressive, but Speight-like serviceable. They got first downs when they needed to most of the time, but not much more happened. More stuff we already know (Evans can run, but only when he has room, etc). They just got to hold on to the football. This would get rid of our most consistent mistake on offense at this point.
OL Performance
I may be crazy, but I think that this is the only thing player-wise that holds this team back from a National Championship now. As usual, they are just a weak line, and it's a problem we've gotten used to and we continue dealing with it. I'm just wondering long-term about when the OL will EVER get good at this point. It's just annoying, but coaching and basic improvement must continue as much as possible. Otherwise, we can look past this position group for now.
Overall, this was an incredibly encouraging game for the offense! Exponentially more problems existed on this offense before this game. Let's not take this improvement for granted.
Better today than yesterday, better tomorrow than today!
Go Blue!
