Why are folks just so ready to dismiss Saddie Washington as a guy to keep? Saddie can recruit.
I haven't seen anyone diss Saddi. Most are saying he will be a head coach in the future, possibly following Greg Kampe.

Ties to the Chicago area and Chicago area basketball are huge. Obviously he has Detroit/Michigan covered too. Even if recruits aren't familiar with him, most of their parents probably will be. This hire is all about recruiting for me. And let's be honest, there have been shitty coaches who have won it all with great recruits, but the inverse is much less common. Maybe we get lucky and Howard is a good/great coach too. Either way, he's obviously a good dude. I've never really heard anything bad about Juwan from anyone at any level.
I can't wait to see Juwan next to Tiny Tom Izzo! Gives the term, "little brother", a whole new dimension.
