I think it was kinda like JFK & Khrushchev communicating through chess moves during Cuban Missile Crisis.
Moore was sending a recognizable message of support to Harbaugh by running a Schembechler offense for a half to put the game away.
”I love the sh*t out of you man. I did this for you” is the tell.

I love the reference, AND the sentiment, but let's face it, we got lucky during the CMC.
Don't doubt for a second that Kennedy was playing chess....most likely while Kruschev playing Hungry Hippos....
PSU leads the B1G in turnover margin. Their secondary is a relative strength. Their DL was beating our pass protection, limiting JJ's ability to run his checkdowns. On the road, JJ having trouble communicating audibles due to crowd noise. Their QB, apart from a couple of trick plays, was not going to beat our secondary. Conservative was the way to go.....

I hate to burst you and the other poster’s bubbles, but Kennedy didn’t outwit Khrushchev. USSR let it be known, through back channels, that they would withdraw from Cuba if we removed our missiles from Turkey that could reach the Soviet Union as easily as theirs could reach the USA from Cuba. We agreed, but only on the condition it wouldn’t be announced publicly and we would do it quietly a few months later, which we did.
I took a Pol Sci class at U-M in 1971 where we did an entire role playing of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Taught by a former advisor of the JFK/LBJ administrations. The Michigan Difference.

I thought Moore's play calling was brilliant.
When penn state's difficulty with our jumbo package was apparent, Moore kept grinding out the yards and the clock play after play. Nothing fancy. We're running the ball, try and stop us.
In the last two games, Michigan has shown the ability to win through the air or on the ground. That, and the motivation that comes from the "us versus the world" mentality.....
ohio has to be concerned.

I love that we have an OC that will finally take what the defense is giving us, and bludgeon them with it.
