Harball sized HAIL

You're a dumbfuck because obviously you don't know that the NFL has 32 teams and their draft has 7 rounds.  With few extra picks there are around 230 CFB players drafted annually.

Patterson would not be selected in the draft.  Probably not even if there were 15 rounds.  NFL teams do not select undersized QB's who have never shown an ability to throw an accurate pass more than 25 yards downfield.  If you think he did show that ability at any point this year then yes you are one of dumbest fucks ever to walk the earth.

So now go the fuck away.

And stay there.

Read my post again as it pertains to yardage.  Then read it again if you need to.

I'll give you 3:15.  The second one you referenced was underthrown.  So that is 1 for 2018.  All his deep balls are thrown late and/or short.  NFL scouts are all over that shit.  He would not be drafted this year.  Bet my house on it.

That said I'm stoked we had him this year, and next.  Light years ahead of the O'Korn misery.

You seem like kind of a sweetheart. I did read your post as it pertains to yardage. That first throw was from the 15 and it almost reached the 50. Go watch it again if you need to.

And you're simply wrong that he was 1 for 2018. Here's some more evidence for you. The first three throws seem pretty good to me and the fourth was right at 25 yards. Then there's the one at 2:38 and the one at 3:02.

Two month wonder.  You really need to learn some etiquette dude.

Try having a conversation rather than telling everyone how stupid they are...except for Maizen...

Hey wait a minute...Maizen? Is that you again? Tired of being Scootertooter and the inevitable Scootertooter2?

Grow up, man up. Debate is fine and healthy.  Even if it hurts your feels.

(Bracing myself for the expected "shut the fuck up.)

I don't disagree that Shea might not be a day one or two pick.  But he 100% would get drafted. Of course it is in his best interest to come back and improve his draft stock.  But he has Drew Brees potential and he is taller.  Shea will lead the B1G in passing efficiency next year and work his way up to anywhere from a one to third round draft pick.  Bank on it if he remains healthy.

He is the best deep ball passer we have had since Henne to Manningham. So try again. You are pathetic. Shea would be drafted without a doubt. Not day one or two but would for sure go before round 7.  Teams are not as scared to draft a qb who is six foot. Think Brees and Wilson and mayfield. So again try again. And you dodged the fact that you said he would be third string in the CFL and I pointed out that he is better than Bortles or Kessler

I know that everything has to be earned, but would he do this unless there was some tacit agreement he wouldn't be the backup?  If not, this could be a huge risk for him - though he could also be of the mindset that if he can't beat out McCaffrey or Milton, he won't be in the NFL anyway.

Separately, although Shea played great at times, there were times where he clearly missed reads and had misses on deep balls.  What are people's thoughts on if Shea returning is a good thing, at least vs. the prospect of McCaffrey being the starter.  Personally, I hope McCaffrey gets a lot more playing time next year.  It is tough to know if he's better unless he gets real game snaps, but in the game snaps he did have, I thought he played pretty well including that absolutely perfect ball down the sideline to Ronnie Bell and he showed good athleticism on his QB keepers.  I'm not saying he's for sure better...I just think some people are "gamers" and it is hard to know unless both QBs, and maybe more, get real game reps with the 1st team.

Thoughts?

If you read the article he said this is the first time he will be in the same offense for two consecutive years.  Harbaugh's offense is not a chuck and duck like most in college football.  It's more complicated. Being in the system for two consecutive years and working with the same group of receivers will be an eye opener. Throw in 4 Olineman coming back and you are looking at maybe one of the top offenses in all of college football.

You'd have to be crazy to think McCaffrey won't get a decent amount of playing time next year.  I'd imagine he gets into at least 4 games next year due to score alone.  Not to mention, Harbaugh will probably have some sort of package for him to take advantage of his athleticism and keep him sharp.

That's good because I am slightly worried about Dcaf's collarbone now. Seems if a QB breaks their collarbone theres almost always nagging injuries to follow. Now Dcaf can rest for most of another season but still have 2 full years left to be the starter afterwards

Plus Shea has built chemistry with our WR group already and itll only get better with another full offseason of practice

Well, turn the "Hope Nozzle" loose!  Hope that Harbaugh's EUTMK and "more is more" mantras finally are reflected in an offense that was a tad bit too conservative this season for the weapons at its disposal with even more firepower on the way via the new Wolverines.

Hope that the chemistry Shea established with DPJ, Collins and Gentry (with Black coming back), springboards in to at least a 3,500 yd season with the same efficiency and allergy to INT's.

Hope that another year under Ben Herbert's training will produce and begin to solidify the strength, speed and endurance gains that will re-certify Michigan as a dominant force in the trenches.

Hope that 4 returning starters and the talent waiting in the wings on the O-line under Warinner's tutelage will pave the way for the best running game and pass protection we've seen since 2003, giving rise to a 1,500 yd back and a pair of 1,000 yd receivers.

Hope that Don Brown... and all the coaches self-scout better, especially against the top-tier teams, identifying the team's weaknesses and are prepared with an unpredictable game-plan and chess moves 3,4, 5 series ahead.

Hope that these tough loses the past 4 years have prepared the team to take the next step and win the big/close games.

Hope for a B10 Championship and a CFP spot next season.  Well, it is Christmas time.
