There's a difference in people hooking up and people being prostituted by members of the University. Jalen Rose talked about this quite a bit on his radio show. He said he got laid on all of his visits (4 of them). But, money wasn't exchanged. Girls wanna hook up with the "next big thing". I bet Brock Lesnar really brings it in. Lmao.

People are going to hammer you on here but I get your main point and agree. Louisville, ND, and I remember reading a story about one of our former QBs (I think Gardner or Denard) on a visit at Florida, going back to his room to find girls waiting in his bed for him.

It is not unbelieveable to me that sex is often used as a way to sway recruits on visits at EVERY big time program. This story specifically is odd, yes, but I'd bet girls are "hired" to "show recruits a good time" at a lot of schools.

In almost every civil action, the plaintiff asks for money damages. This kid has none. A mother allegedly tried to get plaintiff in bed with her daughter. Whether or not he did the deed, what are his damages?

Seems doubtful. Part of the allegations are that she put specifically African-American male students in this bizarre situation and used it to bully them racially. So there's clearly a reason to make note of their respective races in the complaint. On the other hand, I don't have a better guess at to what's being referred to as wrong. The post would make more sense without the questions.

But if that's "what is wrong with the country we live in today," then the US is probably doing fine. Also, it's a legal complaint. African-American might have a more favorable connotation than black to a fact finder, while Canadian-American or whatever would be less likely than white to highlight racial aspects of the allegations.
