Sam Webb Crystal Ball's 2022 5 Star OT Josh Conerly Jr. to Michigan

Conerly's 247 profile

Conerly is from the state of Washington and just visited for the game vs Washington. Webb entered a CB with a confidence level of 6 last night, following Steve Lorenz doing the same on Wednesday. Not sure what Conerly's timeline is but the main competition was thought to be USC and Washington, so fingers crossed this start progressing quickly on this front.

You had me at 5 stars! Hopefully the great great game atmosphere will help convince him to leave the West Coast. I’m more optimistic about a recruiting battle against USC and Washington than the SEC teams or Clemson.

Just wanted to say thank you for actually including his recruiting profile, position, and star ranking in the post.  90% of the time people post a name (and if we're lucky a position) but no other info about the recruit, leaving the rest of us who don't obsessively follow the whims of 16 and 17 year olds to google who the hell they're talking about.

I always dreamed that given our recruiting advantage, Michigan would finally become Wisconsin 2.0 - a program whose identity is to pave your face in on the ground with elite OL and RBs, but with the talent at QB and WR to keep you honest.

Kind of like this season so far, albeit against weak opposition, and with plenty of questions yet answered in re QB/WR play.

Landing kids like this on the regular would be a nice step in that direction.

Cool. Rainier Beach in Seattle is a great basketball school with a few players who played in the NBA most notably Jamaal Crawford, Doug Christie and  Nate Robinson. Good to see them with some football talent too
