The sacrifice continues

I really wanted Juwan and to succeed. Was excited for the hire but this isn’t looking good.  Hopefully this is another sacrifice for Monday. Please be so.

The sacrifice that leads to a win on Monday is the sacrifice that our men have been putting in, day in and day out, for years.

What's happening with the basketball team is completely unrelated (though the same level of sacrifice as the football team would make a huge difference).

Can't say they didn't have their chances at the end. But it shouldn't even come down to that. The basketball team is just sad.

Hi CoMisch. I work as a paranormal advisor. My sources are telling me that the only thing that will work (in terms of a sacrifice for Monday) is if you sacrifice part of your ear (just grab the sharpest knife in the drawer and carve off a piece approximately the size of a lima bean and place it in a jar), or if you run a knitting needle through your ballsack -- just has to go through the skin so not a big deal.

It came down to mirror image plays on each end during the last 30 seconds.  Get the switch of their 5 onto your PG and have the PG drive.

Reed got blown by Nkamhoua over helps, dunk.  Minnesota up 4.

Dug can’t get by their 6-11 guy, other big stays home, Dug takes a tough shot.  Game over.

I think Juwan has 2 years to turn this program around. I'm not sure if he can but he might? He may be on the hot seat but I think he has through the 2025 season to make the NCAA tourney.

Not-Fun Facts: Five of Michigan's eight losses have been by five points or fewer. They're still the only Big Ten Men's Basketball team with a losing record, but they play 7-7 Penn State in Philadelphia on Sunday, so there's a chance that the Nittany Lions also could be under .500 after Sunday's game. (And yes, I'm saying that there's a chance.)

I don’t have peacock. I will not have peacock. It’s probably for the best, because apparently it didn’t go well and I didn’t waste my time, but I’m still going to bitch about peacock.

Screw you peacock.

What's the use of being 59th in the statistical rankings if you can't win a close game against anyone in the top 150?

If a peacock dances in the forest and no one sees him dance, is it really worth paying eleven zillion dollars for one wild card NFL game and this display of, um, hardcourt excellence?

Who didn’t want Juwan to succeed?  I haven’t followed much basketball yet because, uh, football. However what little I have has been extremely disappointing and not much reason for it. Unfortunately I think the writings on the wall.

If UM wins a title on Monday and the this basketball teams rips off a 5-game win streak I'm going to never doubt the idea of curses and karma again.

So far the team cannot play sustained defense. The offense is also frustrating because they struggle to maintain a lead and they take too many “wrong” shots. However they do score the basketball. If they could only rebound a bit better and sustain defense- meaning don’t get caught over helping and gain a lock down mentality. Not sure it’s going to happen at any point with this team as it was “thrown together” to fill the gaps.

I like the coaching staff but I have to believe they are getting close to the chopping block.

I watched a D3 game in person Thursday night (Trine University at Kalamazoo College) before I got home to watch us play on the Peacock. I was much more impressed with the defense played by D3 versus anything I’ve seen from Michigan this year.

And the most wonderful thing about the D3 game was there were no TV timeouts and no going to replay to see if the ball may have caught a player’s fingernail before going out of bounds.
