Few things to unpack here…
- ND loses in spectacular fashion
- pudgy face muffin top osu qb is running around screaming obscenities at the fans which is never great, but worse when it looks just so cringeworthy.
- Day has a truly Howard Dean moment going after an almost 90 year old Lou Holtz who barely knows what planet he’s on at this point.
- Double Day…he can’t help but tell everyone how tough they are. Keep saying it and it will come true must be the mantra.

Can you imagine the narrative change if OSU didn't score there? If he came up a few inches short against only 10 defenders??
ND would be Top 5 today, Day would likely walk home, Lou Holtz would have been 100% correct; all of it changed over just a few inches. Gotta love football!

The irony of Day’s comment is that publicly defending that his team isn’t soft is, in fact, acknowledging that it is. Better to just not address the message board posters than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt.

Ironically their best chance of beating us is throwing all over the yard. If Day tries to establish the run and show how “tough” they are, he’ll learn what an elite group of defensive tackles we have.

Everyday Ohio State isn't coached by Urban Meyer they get worse. The residual effects of the dominance Meyer and Tressel built carried over for years but it is running low. This guy is on borrowed time.
