RDT's Waterloo (with accompanying exile)

I don't have a link, but I just read on twitter than for an encore, the Redhot Chilli peppers drummer sang "the victors", at a concert this weekend in C-bus. He then proceeded to drop his equipment on the stage, and then walked off to a chorus of boos. Isn't college football the greatest sport on earth? #soccerisacommunistplot

I NEVER predicted Poggi to Alabama. If people will recall, I simply said the word around campus was that Bama was favored. Also, if people would go back, I constantly said that poggi's personality and the environment in the south didn't mesh. Someone show me where I said I thought Poggi was going to Alabama. Also, I'm not the only one who missed on Isaac. Most all of the analysts whiffed as well. But of course, whenever I'm wrong, I'm the only one ever remembered for it.

To have sources that know something the rest of us don't. And by that time there were a lot of people saying USC was leading.

And Poggi...who are we supposed to believe? Your guesses, or your sources? I bet if he had gone to Alabama you'd have claimed "see, I told you that everyone down here was saying he's all Bama....(ignore what I said about thinking Michigan made more sense).  Can't have it both ways.

I guess the answer is get a hard one actually completely right before you claim you actually know people who know things.

I didn't post on here for about a month when USC took the lead for Isaac. I also told this board before any of the insiders did that Ty was going to make a decision soon, because he was tired of the process. Again, go back and look at what I wrote. Two days later, rivals posted the same thing. On Poggi, I was a firm and consistent poster saying he was going to Michigan. Please, show me where I said Poggi was going to Alabama. I also said that he was a smart kid whom education would play a huge part for him, and it was the deciding factor. I also told this board that David Dawson, and Logan Tuley Tillman would commit on the day they did. I'm sorry I didnt know more, but I only knew about those things because they were also being recruited by Alabama. Forgive me for calling Isaac to Michigan two months ago when everybody else did you, and not posting anything else about it for a month. I tried to post things as much as I could because I like a lot of the people on this board. People attacking me for being wrong on Isaac is absolutely absurd.

There is a very small percentage here who will attack anyone for any excuse they can find.  It gets much worse during the offseason months.  You've actually been quite fortunate that they hadn't turned on you earlier.

Three points here:

1.  I usually just ignore them.

2.  They are a very small percentage of the board, but seem large because even one percent of this board is somewhere between twenty and forty people,

3.  Need I remind you of an old, southern adage: never roll in the mud with a pig...

One thing I have to hand to the SEC boys, the women.  Gosh, those "Golden Girls" from LSU during the National Championship... I didn't want the television to show the game anymore, I would've watched them for two hours.

If you're going to make your overly dramatic exit, stick to it. This is at least the second time RDT pulled this one. Don't be a frickin' martyr because you were too damn lazy to look at the board before you posted and missed a post 4 down, and got hammered for it like everyone else would have. It happens to everyone at least once.  Don't act like you've achieved some special status where your crap doesn't stink.  Instead of making lame iPhone excuses (funny...the other post still appears on my App), man up, say "oops", take the piss out of yourself (didn't we just have a post deleted, "with Malice"?), and spare us this whiny crybaby stuff.

Especially when we know he'll be back, because he's loving the attention of this character he's created.

I was wrong, and I got lazy and didn't check the board. But with all due respect, I never said I was leaving the board before this, I simply said I was going to stop doing recruiting stuff. I like the guys on the board, and I apologize for double posting. It completely slipped my mind to check the board first. For that, I certainly do apologize.

Just stop acting like some drama queen that people gave you a hard time about it. They didn't pick on you any more or less than anyone else making a post on the first page of posts. If you have a gripe it's that all the mods seem to be off today and it went on longer than it should have. But things like your new title seem like you still want to play the sympathy card. No one wants you to beg for forgiveness. Just don't say I'm outta here or exiled...just take your lumps and move on.

Here, let me help-

That was the thread people were replying to. No one got particularly put off that he did a repeat thread, other than the normal teasing that everyone gets. It's the "sniff, sniff, I guess I'll take my ball and go home" stuff (immediately followed by him posting again...so, whatever, that lasted) that was annoying. His apology came after his crying and excuses. Neither of which were necessary.
