Rashan Gary Diary

Submitted by StephenRKass on

At USA Today Sports, there is a Rashan Gary diary, with a few thoughts on Michigan, other schools, food, and his interests.

Regarding the IMG game:

I didn’t get a chance to talk to Coach Harbaugh, but I saw him and that he came down to the game to support me and my teammates was cool.

Regarding his visit to Michigan:

My visit to Michigan (on Sept. 25) was good. I’ve been there three times before. I already had a good idea how it was. I just needed to go there and check out the business school, a place where I plan on spending the majority of my time because hopefully that will be my major. I wanted to get a good feel for how people were at the campus and I accomplished that while I was there. There were a lot of nice people. You ask them a question and they don’t mind it. Here in Jersey, a lot of people won’t say hi until you say hi. I saw Chris (Partridge, the former coach at Paramus, now an assistant at Michigan). We just talked about my high school season, just catching up and stuff.

Regarding food:

I love to eat. Right now, I’m a little heavier than usual. I’m around 300. During the season, my weight goes up and down, but the lightest this season I’ve been is 285 in the third game. I’ll usually have a breakfast sandwich with hash browns for breakfast, then three sandwiches, a Gatorade, a fruit snack and water for lunch. For dinner, my favorite meals are my mom’s jambalaya or her fried chicken. I like her fish too. I don’t know — I just like to eat.

Reading about Jerry Kill and Chris Clark and Dave Brandon is a bit of a downer, but any Rashan Gary news is good news. Hoping we have lots of good news in the remainder of the recruiting cycle.

I'm guessing based on the fact there was a stationairy camera set up he was trying to film his way cool karate kicks and the lady walked into room without him knowing and took one right in the face.

BTW - near the end, right before he cradles her lifeless head in his arms, that dude looks a LOT like Nicholas Cage to me.

I do not find this gif funny at all.  I find no humor in a man kicking a woman in the face especially when we hear of so many issues and situations today where men assault women, and vice versa.  Granted, this may have been an attempt to fake it, but from the evidence they missed on that.

[MODS - IMHO, I think the post should be deleted.]
