Question about how ticketing for Thursday's game(s) works
I'm an SF Bay Area Wolverine and I'm making the trip down to LA this Thursday to take my son to his first Michigan Basketball game. I had to buy tickets to both games (Gonzaga vs. Florida State being the other one), but because I'm flying down and back on the same day so that my son doesn't have to miss more than a day of school, I'm not planning on attending the later game.
Does anyone know if the later game has its own ticket stubs (which would allow me to sell them separately), or is the same ticket used for admission to both games? I ordered my tickets via StubHub and they're paper tickets that won't arrive until tomorrow.
Same game. One session on Thursday, second game starts 30 minutes or so after the first ends.
I think one ticket (both physical and purchase) gets you into both games.
One session equals 2 games.
Go Blue.
if you have to leave after the first game, you can't even resell the ticket outside the gates (it became invalid to re-entry when you swiped it).
It's March, and this is a once in a lifer--and you are worried about missing two days of school?
So, you're gonna torture the kid with TWO flights in one day, the airport in and out BS, going to a game, roughing in and out of the stadium parking lot, yadda yadda yadda...
Let the kid have two days off. Geezus why do people have to act like SuperParent American Hero all the time?

I appreciate your indignation, Mr. Random-Internet-Dude-Who-Just-Joined-The-Site-Yesterday-And-Thinks-It's-Okay-To-Tell-People-He's-Never-Met-How-To-Parent, but my son already missed ten days of school earlier in the year, so I'm trying to keep further absences to a minimum.
Depending how the Michigan game goes, I might try to sell mine for the second game outside the arena. It cost me almost $300. So trying to get $50 or so back seems like a worthwhile endeavor....hoping to put it toward another ticket Saturday!
Took my son and daughter to their first football game at ages 7 & 8. Bpought them each a shirt from the event. Of course they wore them until outgrown but I was sure that they saved them until old enough to understand their nostalgic importance. They are now 29 & 30 yrs old and still have those shirts in the hopes to pass them on to their own children....(if that ever happens).
Just a thought.
