I hope he goes to Louiv. We need big George and a strong finish although i don't think we'll actually get harrison. I think he goes to osu. Crouch goes to clemson. Deloach seems to not be coming here anymore. These are all twitter and blog rumors of course but it just seems that the game really had a negative impact on a few of these players. Gosh i pray im wrong...

I live in Louisville and the city is 50/50 split between "he's coming" and "he's not coming"  As an outsider looking in, I see Louisville and Purdue as a  lateral move.  I personally don't see why he'd leave a program where he has something good going to go for a program that's a literal dumpster fire and gave up 50+ to Wake Forest and Kentucky, and has to beat Clemson to make the playoff each year.  I think Purdue will do whatever it can to keep him.

The difference is that Michigan PAID Harbaugh and gave him CASH for his staff. Lousiville is lowballing Brohm (even going so far as to wait a week, costing staff hiring and recruiting to suffer to save $1M).

The other difference is that Louisville is a nobody in the football world, while Michigan is (and was even though we had a poor ~7 year stretch when Harbaugh was hired) a blue blood.

Michigan gave Harbaugh the AD he wanted, upgraded already world class facilities, switched to Nike, all partially for Harbaugh (a dude like Hoke wouldn't have gotten nearly as much money).

Finally, Harbaugh is just as famous/ more known as the Michigan coach than the 49ers coach (or the Colt's coach, if he went to Indy instead). Brohm won't get that fame bounce from Purdue to Louisville.

Unless they severely increase their offer to him, I don't think he's leaving Purdue. Apparently their first offer to him was laughable.

(please leave so we get Karlaftis)
