Call them when they announce the season ticket sale and let them know. They will work with you. The season ticket ceiling has not been met yet.

When you say minimal amount of points, how many you talking? Obviously I can see the strata that MGoBlue provides, but I'm still below that 64.75 or whatever qualifies you for the top 20,000.

Just my opinion on how it works.

And do you (any other MGoUsers) have any insight into whether the athletic department would honor requests (or put my name in queue) for additional seats in close proximity to my current seats?
Whoever owns the four directly in front of me is likely a scalper, since I've not seen the same folks sit there in the seven years I've had my seats. I'm two rows from the top in the southeast corner. It'd be nice to be able to request 2 or 4 of those seats if and when the become available.
Just curious about protocol with the department in this type of situation.
EDIT: I'm also 2.5 priority points outside of the top 20,000, fwiw.

Just put the request in, but call them.

For example, the highest ranking donors will get tickets honored for the toughest away games like OSU and the best seats at bowl games or even final four tickets etc. As you work your way down the list some will get offered partial away games and other pre-sale dates to purchase packages etc. Bottom line, the higher you are on that list the more accommodating they are to your requests. Another example, donor events to have lunch with the coaches after they came out of the submarine last year or "Signing of the Stars" events. Everything is based on the donor points.

--Click on My Account.
--Click on View My Priority Points.
--Scroll down; you'll see a breakdown of your points on the left and the overall ranking on the right.
EDIT: Although the ranking only goes down to the top 20,000, which corresponds roughly to the 40th percentile.

It is a little dated right now though. A new update should be coming soon. Once you reach that 111 point area you will notice some new benefits. Getting above that current 65 point mark will also help a bit.

It is quite the investment but it was worth every penny. I was able to go with my wife, a great friend who now lives in GA, my dad who knew nothing about American football (I'm from a futebol country :) and he absolutely loved the experience at the big house (BYU game was perfect weather and the crowd was really into it) my mother in law and my wife's grandpa who hadn't gone to a Michigan game in over 15 years. Amazing memories and it was only year one! Can't wait for 2016, Go Blue!

Joined the Season Ticket Interest List this year! Fingers crossed on getting offered some!

Ha - just paid mine a few hours ago. That put a serious dent in my wallet. Did anybody pay with e-check to get the extra priority point? I was going to but I figured the rewards miles I'm getting for putting the PSD on my credit card is worth more than the extra priority point.

Pretty simple.
January 27th, 2016 at 4:43 PM ^
No. The way I see it, my Delta miles will get me more than the extra PSD. I'm so far off from having a meaningful PSD point total that I would have to drop a couple hundred grand to just be worthwhile.

Your PSD is due, I'll be getting my tickets in the parking lot for 1/2 of face value 10 mins before game time.

5 in a row to start the season -- that will be draining to attend that many in a row, and I live 30 mins from Ann Arbor. I don't know how people can travel long distances for games week after week like they do.
January 27th, 2016 at 4:27 PM ^
I went to 8 games last year and had to fly to 7 of them. Was worth every minute and every penny that I spent. I do think that flying is easier than driving 5+ hours. Those people who drive those long distances are insanely dedicated. Kudos.

We went to every game this year and the bowl game. We travel from MD and our group is from all over (NY, NC, IL, OH, MI, VA, NV, TX, Canada, VA) etc. We are making special arrangements next year to stay a week and hit two games and then leaving a car at the hotel by the airport and flying out Sunday and returning Thurs or Fri to start a new weekend. You have to be creative.

It's a great group. Ages range from 21-60 mostly. Some kids from 8-14 that can handle the events. A mixture of alumni, fans, and diehards.

You've been to every home and away game since 1978?! Holy Cow. You are seriously my hero. I would love nothing better than to do that!!!

For all long standing season ticket holders, i've always wondered if you are subject to PSD's? Is that a fee everyone pays now a days?
January 27th, 2016 at 5:13 PM ^
The endzones were finally included two years ago. The cheapest PSD is $75.
