Postseason expressions of gratitude

Submitted by lastofthedogmen on
Just a note to express my appreciation to the folks at MGoVideo.com for making games, press conferences, and "inside" episodes available to those of us in the north woods without TV or DVR. A special thanks to Michael Spath and Doug Skene for the "In The Trenches" analyses that provided insight into the blocking/tackling struggles and successes. http://mgovideo.com/category/in-th-trenches/ Looking forward to seeing more in 2016!

Word. He maintains an awesome resource for Michigan fans. It's where I go to watch press conferences that I can't find elsewhere, as well as game replays. I'm very glad he was able to salvage the site after a certain young poster here nearly brought it down single handedly by talking to a TC3 media attorney.

Big up, Thorin.

I love the "In the Trenches" videos.

Doug Skene is excellent at explaining what's going on ... what went right and what went wrong.

My only complaint is they're too short. I want a breakdown of the whole game! :-)

Thanks, OP.  I had no idea that FULL GAMES were hosted on MGoVideo.   The Citrus Bowl latency appeared to be about 5 hours after the game ended.   Is this typically the case?   I DVR most games and don't watch them live since I HATE COMMERCIALS AND INANE HALFTIME CHATTER.  I also avoid the internet and smart phones during games to foil spoilers.   Could MGoVideo be my ultimate cord-cutting tool?

Also, +100 for the In the Trenches plug.  I'm hooked.

Sometimes hours, sometimes days. The Trenches are usually posted the Thursday or Friday after the game. I never mind if it takes longer - it's so well done, and is free of commentary or advertisement - a rarity in today's sports net. And the historical games are a treat. On a side note, looking at the pre-2007 games makes me realize anew how far the talent level/development and depth slipped prior to The New Dispensation. Man, we had some great ones.
