Posbang: Here's to Us

Submitted by aiglick on

Let me be perfectly clear: yesterday sucked.

That said it's a new day and we may as well move on and it's still the weekend and there are still eight games left.

It looks really bad right now but you just never know what can happen. There's always a chance even if it's as small as 1 in 100,000. We pretty much have no control over their performance anyway and the AD certainly doesn't seem to entertain our opinions or ideas.

Leaving the team's performance aside for the moment we still have one of the best blogs out there. Period. We have a community that bickers and has many opinions but we all have a common desire for Michigan to be good at some point. We just go about that in different ways.

Let's celebrate our community and the hard work Brian and Co put in and look forward to a new week together.

Do you think for one second that your endless negativity will change one thing? OP should be allowed to voice something positive without being completely disrespected by some Internet punk who won't shut the fuck up.

Your pessimism is tiresome, and your foul language is offensive.

I was a student here when Bo was Coach.  That set my standards at a high level.  If someone's criticisms contain information, a suggestion or a rationale, then they may be constructive.  Just being gloomy serves no useful purpose.

Still transferring the game off my DVR to cut up for the every snaps. Still going to record msu and ohio state's games for scouting. There's always work to be done.

I'll keep doing my part, and that will never change.

My two-year-old—who had never been to a football game before—absolutely loved the flyovers. We left at halftime, so we missed out on the bad rain, making it a great day for a kid.

We're certainly not influential as a source for strategic insight within the athletic department, that's for sure, but this place is influential enough that it makes its own headlines from time to time. Sometimes, those headlines might be something somewhat inglorious like TWIS, but it is sought for its insight and stance on certain things because of the collective knowledge represented here. I think we can raise a glass to being part of group that is at least sometimes heard as a community.

I'm going to have a buffalo wings and french fries for dinner. I'm going to either watch whatever NFL  game is on tv tonight, or I'm going to play Madden 15 on my ps4. And I'm going to smoke some really good pot that I happened to walk into today.

I for one am not looking forward to the blog this week. All the fire Hoke, we suck, who should be the next coach, etc stuff will be depressing. I have been around the blog for awhile and the last year of the RR era was horrible on the blog.

Closed the place down.  The Hofbrau was good.  I graduated from Michigan.  Posbang away.  Even Duke BBall sucks now and then.  No worries.

And I appreciate how you own your signature, jdon.  May be dumb to me, but you own it.  To each their own.

So here's to.... a winning season?  This is a bad start, but the season is not unsalvageable. Coaches need to keep coaching, players need to keep playing, regardless of whether this is Hoke's last year.

No amount of threads complaining about the team will change anything. Posting an endless barrage of shit doesn't get the team one step closer to respectability. Go on with your bad self OP. I'm with ya.

By the way, it was Parents weekend and my wife and I had a great time tailgating with my son's roomate's parents at their house before the game. We're damn proud of our kids who are students and busting their asses to get their degree. Go Blue!
