I really don't know who to pick in this one.

Of course Penn State won.  It's "the Granddaddy of them all" and PSU actually has someone old enough to be a Grandfather on their team (Sean Clifford).  :-)

My first time at the Rose Bowl Game today (I've been to the stadium for a couple UCLA games).  January 1st (or 2nd) in SoCal IS college football's Shangri-La.  So beautiful, even in the rain.

Penn State showed their true colors early in the game. A Utah receiver lost his mouthpiece on the PSU sideline. As he tried to pick it up one player kicked it and another picked it up and threw it behind the bench. I guess the next step would have been throwing sandwiches.

Felt bad for the Utah QB to get hurt and not be able to finish but it was cool to see Clifford go out with a win. He's been the subject of the poor-damn-Devin-Gardner treatment for most of his career with that PSU offensive line regularly getting him lit up. I don't know that I've ever seen a player take so many hits and keep getting back up. Tough kid.
