Submitted by DISCUSS Man on

i am a fan of the Star Wars original trilogy and am annoyed that there are going to be more movies made since the prequel trilogy wasn't very good.

Ah yes, the old "I will reply to the first post so people see my post, even though I am not directly replying to the first post" trick.

I was never a comic book reader so I didn't have any prior knowledge with all of the Marvel movies but for me, they are easily in my top 2 with probably Fast and Furious from the 5th movie on. (Haven't seen number 7 yet sadly).

You speak no lie, as 5 is the best of the series still, but I love all of them. Well, I have not seen Tokyo Drift and don't feel the need to at this point considering I know what happens. I think they did an excellent job fixing the at one time continuity error with that film.

Though I'm not too happy they're making a fourth movie, there is nothing that suggests that it won't be a grand slam.

Each film raised the bar and was a massive hit. In my opinion it's the greatest series of all-time because it appeals to all audiences. If you do not like Toy Story, you have something wrong with you.

I know I am in the minority, but I'd prefer to watch 1-3 than 4-6 if I could only choose one trilogy. I'm 33 years old before you ask how old I am or assume I am a young kid who doesn't appreciate 4-6. I also cannot wait for episode 7. I think JJ is a great fit for this project and hopefully he will return for episode 9 and possibly others.

1 and 2 are ridiculously horrible films.   LIke truly terrible "shouldn't have been made" level bad.

You could pick out whatever random film is playing on HBO and 90% of the time you'd be better off watching that then ever subjecting yourself to SW Ep 1 or 2 again.

The only saving grace of Ep 1-3 is that I think Lucas sold the rights to Disney strictly because he got so tired of people telling him how much he sucked.  And Lucas giving up the rights was the only hope anyone had of ever getting a decent SW film ever again.
