While it sucked at the time, and we definitely seem to be doing quite well without them now, I wonder what Suter and Parise think about going with Minnesota over Detroit.

Funny, I just thought of that when I saw Sunday that they were tonight's game. I don't like to be petty, but...nah, OK, I'll just say I hope they're glad to be near home, since the rest of it doesn't seem to be working out. I'm also now kinda glad. The rise of the Wings' youngsters would have been even more delayed.
