OT: The "What are you drinking?" Thread

It feels like the right time for our "What are you drinking?" thread...I haven't seen this one in a while. Tonight I dine with Elijah Craig in an attempt to wipe this day from my memory.  So, what will it be, sport?

Fuck football.  I walked out when Fucknut turned the corner and haven't looked at a game since.  Drinking Fat Tire to help deal with the crappiness of the hamsters this site rents.

We lost on bullshit.  I feel I should feel like the players..

Therefore alteranating Mescal, with shit Ron Burgundy Scotch (god its horrid). It does get a laugh though.

JW Blue is for closers ( had a bottle ready).

We can still get in. We need Va Tech to beat Clemson, Colorado to beat Washington, and Penn St over Wisconsin.

That leaves Alabama and OSU as locks, and the next two conference champs are both teams beat, one by 39, and a 3 loss Clemson who their best win is over a team that lost to Kentucky

I am saying there is a chance

Tanq is the signpost.  It's your replacement level gin so to speak.  

Valentine's Liberator Gin was a game changer for me.  It's a local Detroit product.   I had it in martini, and I finally understood gin.  This was drinking Bombay, Tanq, Beefeater some others.

Even after discovering it,  I looked for other gins.  Nothing suits my palate better than Valentine's.  After 3 or 4 of these purchases, I wondered why I was trying to replace Valentine's.

Most gin drinks you are fine with Tanq or Beef,  Straight or martini, it better be decent.  Valentine's is my go to

Traverse City Whisky Co. and Coke Zero, with a little bitters.

I'm also watch the Trailer Park Boys.

The combo is taking the pain away, at least a little.

I had to type with one eye closed, but whateves.  It worked.

Just got home from my 20th high school reunion - kind of needed that distraction after today's game, and indeed, I had a good time.

Now, it's Dark Horse Pinot Noir and the end of the Clemson-South Carolina game, and then who knows after that....maybe a movie because I need a break from football for a few hours.
