OT – Super Bowl/Sports Commercials
As we all know, the Superbowl is when many companies provide us with what they think are very good commercials, even though they may not be sports related.
What I am looking for are sports related commercials that you have liked over the years.
Some of my favorites are:
Feeling 7-Up (Larry Bird, Jim Rice, Wayne Gretzky, Magic Johnson when they were starting out.)
Nice Shoes – Bo Jackson (Nike)
Skoal Brother – Earl Campbell

This wasn’t a super bowl commercial, there was a commercial for a sports show, maybe 15 years ago with two guys who are blue-screened into real NBA footage and it look like they juking out big-name players and dunking. The guys are kind of trashy and it looks intentionally fake, but always made me laugh. Might have been on ESPN or fox sports.
Runner-up: A commercial for a sports trivia show on espn around 15-20 years ago that was advertised with a commercial of these dwarves dressed in mole costumes with I believe question marks on them. They’d appear in people’s yards and, I believe, people would chase them and they’d make weird sounds. It was bonkers. I was straight-edge back then, so I promise I wasn’t on drugs when I saw this. Please tell me someone remembers this.

I always liked the old Miller Lite commercials. They had some pretty good stars back in the day.

A lot of the SportsCenter commericals are great. My favorite being "Manny being Manny". Just their laughs are so genuine and contagious.
But the best sports commercials are the Terry Tate the Office Linebacker series by Reebok:

One I didn’t like was that one where the wife is imagining cheating on her husband with Michael B Jordan. In the age of wokeness, I’m surprised that ad got through.

Does anyone remember the mid-90s Snickers commercial with the Buffalo Bills?
That one was actually pretty funny, especially when Marv Levy says something like, "We're not leaving this room until we figure out how to get back to the big game."
The next thing you hear is, "Gonna be around a while? Have a Snickers."

Haven't they been airing old Bud Light commercials during games, or perhaps I'm making things up.
In particular the "Yes, I am" commercials featuring the guy who went on to become one of the cast of Ocean's 11 - I think he's the computer hacker stereotype character. Not really a sports commercial but they made one for March Madness with Krzyziewski
