Ugh the let downs after the big moments are always the issues with Fed...
Come on Rog fight back the break now.

Fed used to blow people off the court but with his age he lost a lot of his power and confidence as a result.
He hates volleying and all that "old school" tennis stuff he has to rely on now to compete. So no surprise that he doubts himself against young guns.

At the same time, Djokovic seems to occasionally go through his own bouts of inconsistency, as we're seeing right now.

ESPN.

It's on ESPN - was delayed for hours. They'll be running the "watch the baseball game on ESPN2 [or ESPNNews, whatever]" scroll straight through the match.

Sigh just racking up the errors.
Classic Federer against Djoker and Nadal.

Fed just probably gave away the match right there. smh.

Not anything particular that Djokovic has done on most those breaks chances that Wawrinka, Gasquet, Isner, or anyone else hasn't done.
Haha.
September 13th, 2015 at 9:53 PM ^
It's over. Fed isn't going to see 18. His game becomes rubbish when it counts.
3/17 LOL WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWwww

Fed isn't there anymore mentally. 3 for 17 on break chances confirms it.

Federer not having a good forehand is mind numbing... Just no power or accuracy when needed.
That's like half the reason why Djoker and Nadal can chase down everything.

Never thought I would see the day that Fed's backhand is his better shot than his forehand.
Unreal.
September 13th, 2015 at 10:23 PM ^
Argh...love you Fed but you gotta close these out. So so many chances. If he ever gets to 18, it'll be just a random old man performance and probably will include Djoker going down to injury before they have a chance to meet.
September 13th, 2015 at 10:24 PM ^
Fed's forehand is gone these days. Won't see #18 unless there's a fluke.
What is that error #30 on the forehand now?
Win half of these breaks and he wins the match easily.

Honestly I'm in denial...and probably so is Rodger.
