OT: RIP Brewmeister Smith
One of the first roles I ever saw him in was as Ming the Merciless, in the cult classic Flash Gordon....
RIP sir...
That film is so much better than it gets credit for.
3 Days of the Condor
RIP King Osric. And so many other memorable characters.
The real tragedy is the fact that most obituaries won’t mention his role in the immortal classic “Strange Brew.”
Back off, hoser!
"...All the bowling alleys had been wrecked. So's I spent most of my time lookin for beer."
"Stand back, eh, my brother's got a whiz to throw!"
Must be British new wave eh.
Had to watch Wild Strawberries in my high school. Still appreciated it back then. Another brilliant artist left us.
There's a mouse in my beer, eh!

Loved him in Victory. Dude was playing a Nazi, but good flick and performance anyway.
Hail Ming! He had some great roles. I truly enjoyed the roles he played.
The man was meaningful in the following franchises:
- Stephen King
- Star Wars
- Game of Thrones
- James Bond
- Indiana Jones
And he played Jesus. And Zeus. And the Devil.
He had literally 100 other roles, as if those weren't enough.
Tall, a bad mofo voice and stare to match ... he had some natural gifts, and he didn't let them go to waste. This is the type of guy who put the magic in movies. RIP
The Seventh Seal has to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The Exorcist was the stuff of nightmares, but in a good (?) way. If he was in a movie I was watching, I knew I'd be sleeping with the lights on.
Let his name be recorded in every place of honor. Let him take the law he served so well to those who have it not. Let him be written in our hearts and our memories forever.
