OT: Ravens-Steelers to be Played via Zoom

Was hoping to lighten the mood around here.

NFL's considering moving the Steelers-Ravens game to later in the week. I call BS considering the Broncos couldn't get their game moved a couple days just so they could start an actual QB.

I can't believe an NHL team was allowed to play a coach in goal, but an NFL team couldn't do the same at QB. When you make Gary Bettman not look like a giant douche, you've really outdone yourself.

The NHL has a long, though not recent, history of player-coaches. The NFL...not so much.

And if you're looking for things to be fair, you're in the wrong year.

The difference is that the Broncos did not follow the protocols all teams and position groups are supposed to follow, so the NFL made an example out of them. The NFL doesn't want players to get the virus so they don't have to cancel games so they don't lose money. Money is their motivation and they purposely did this to the Broncos so other teams would follow the rules.

I don't like that decision at all, by the way.

I get the point but didn’t the Broncos actually contain the outbreak to only the QB room while the Ravens have let it run rampant threw half the roster?  By the NFL’s standards Denver would have been better off spreading it further threw the roster.  Seems like they’re making an example of the wrong team.

Yea it is getting a little silly at this point.  The Broncos game should have been pushed back and the ravens game should be moved to week 18 or cancelled.

Lester Patrick also suited up for the Rangers, the team he coached 92+ plus years ago due to an in game injury and after being rebuffed in asking for an NHL goaltender who was in the stands that night AND a minor league goalie to take the spot between the pipes, all while this happened in the Cup Final. The league has obviously evolved through the years in adding a back-up goalie and now an emergency goalie, should neither the starter or back-up be able to play.

With all that said, the NFL is a fucking joke in their decision making process with games they decide to postpone and the games they decide must be played, despite the circumstances.

Now that's a game I'd pay to watch, if for no other reason than to see some kid come downstairs with his headphones on and yell at a starting DB or LB to get off the WiFi he's playing COD and the lag is awful.

Postponed to Wednesday. Some BS. Steelers bye week screwed up because of Titans. Now post Thanksgiving extended week now shortest turnaround I've ever heard of for modern era NFL game because of Ravens. Ravens even given extra 30 hrs rest with their next game scheduled for Monday afternoon.

Is one of the guys from the undefeated dolphin team making these decisions. Big winner Washington football team gets to play a steelers team with 3.5 days for rest and prep.

LOL! As a Steelers fan I found this hilarious.

But seriously, just cancel the ding-dang game already! The Steelers have no open dates. Every push back of this game is crowding next Sunday's game.  And, how exactly are the teams going to have enough players on Tuesday if they couldn't do it on Sunday?
