In my opinion, the worst of the worst are from the Grosse Pointe, Michigan area.
A lot of bad apples from everywhere, but in my opinion I love that we have more geographic diversity than any other major state school. Don't get mad at the East Coasters, that's stereotypical and stupid. We don't even know where he's from.

Sometimes stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason.
Well, I had two friends at UM from Grosse Pointe and they were two of the nicest, most inclusive, fun but never mean-spirited people I ever ran across at UM. Just sayin.

Agreed... it seems like Michigan is the safety school for a lot of those pricks.

Or maybe Michigan was the only decent school they got into?
I think two factors are at play. 1) If you can afford go to UM out of state, you are more likely to be fairly well off and often with that comes a sense of privilege, and that can make it easier to be a douche with fewer consequences. 2) Having lived out here a while, I find the Boston to Philly corridor to just be a more macho, fake hardass culture than in the Midwest.
Of course, the vast majority of kids from the East Coast at Michigan I found to be perfectly nice people. But in cases where someone acted like an entitled asshole like this guy, the East Coasters (most of whom come frome NY/NJ) were overly represented.

Lemme guess... you're from the east coast.
And most rich kids coming from out of state are nothing but positive contributors to campus lifeDo you any empirical evidence to back that up? I think there's quite a few people around the Treetops area which would like to chime in there.

You do realize the frat brother from SAM who pled guilty re: Treetops incident was from Bloomfield Hills, right?

That's my point. It was in response to the poster who was blaming the Treetops incident on the east coast students.

Okay... I'll take the bait. RE: Treetops, how many were from Michigan and how many were from the East Coast??? Because SAM on campus is known is a Midwest frat after all, right?!
one frat brother was responsible for the whole thing, then i have a bridge to sell ya.

I'm not going to say all kids from the NYC region are dicks because of course that's true (and of course some kids from MI act like that), but all of us who have attended Michigan can pick out the Jersey/Long Island kids from a mile away. As un-PC as it is, you can usually pick out the Jersey boys pretty easy

I saw that in the thread and it seems to be just conjecture, since someone else noted that this guy has a decently high rating for an Uber driver.

I cannot think of something a guy could say to me to unload quite like that. It's an Uber driver - you get back at him by giving him a terrible rating and complaining to Uber. Guys with bad ratings get pulled pretty quickly.
My guess is (based on Uber rides I've heard about here in NYC) that the guys in the car wanted to do something the driver didn't allow (e.g. smoke, blast music, said something inappropriate toward someone in the car/on the street) and he told them to get out.

and then there is the ridiculous shit that this douche canoe said. There is not any combinatio of words in the universe possible to justify a retaliation using the combinations of words that this disgrace of a human being used.

It's one thing to mistreat any fellow human......there is no excuse for this.
But to continue when the Uber driver is video taping the episode is beyond fucking stupid.
I hope to see this little deuchebag one day in downtown Ann Arbor, just to see how he normally carries his persona.

Totally agree.
(Also, do you work for Uber? I didn't see whether you participated in XtraMelanin's thread last night about usernames and avatars.)
Uber: denoting an outstanding or supreme example of a particular kind of person or thing.
As in "Very very very Go Blue"
I never thought of it within the context of the company. It is generally cheaper than taxi cabs.
Ha, it only occurred to me to ask since it is kind of an Uber thread.
did you?
same with putin.
what is up with you dictators? too good for the rest of us?
for him, as soon as they get back home from the Pez Easter Egg Hunt.
Well played sir/ma'am.

What a bunch of losers. Would like to spend a minute with hair club dude and give him an education his parents obviously didn't do.
Pricks like this come to A2 from all over. It's usually more a spoiled rich kid thing more than anything else. Also anyone who worked a service job would never be so disrespectful.
Good luck getting a job after you (maybe) graduate...asshole kid.
This video will be seen by many recruiters. Maybe he is perfect for Wall Street, or some type of attorney. Other than that, its manual labor.
Well I will have to google that. If its true, then an early heart attack would be suitable. The world needs less assholes.
There's no doubt this kid worked on "Hail and Unite."
