OT: OSU B-ball recruit decommits - "They didn't even make the NIT"

Submitted by theSAABlife on

Ohio St. basketball 4-star/top 50 commit, Darius Bazley decommited yesterday citing "they didn't even make the NIT."(Harsh) Semi noteworthy becasue I believe Beilein among others are planning to reach out.

I can't recall a recruit being so brazen and upfront with thier reasoning to decommit and if it just so happens he ends up in AA (probably unlikely) that would be comical

***First post so please forgive any rookie mistakes. Thanks!****

makes sense. if this kids is planning on a one or two year college career, he probably doesn't want to take a chance on a team that didn't make the NIT. It's weird timing though since they didn't make the nit a while ago.

With a payroll like OSU, how has their program tanked so badly?

Fraudulent academics? Check

Big city? Check

Complicit Professors? Check

Co-ed who haven't found meth or heroin yet? Check

What the hell Thad!?

Now, now....if you enoy freeway reconstruction that seems to take 20 years and makes getting to an otherwise cool zoo a death march from a traffic standpoint, Toledo does indeed have its own charm. You simple have to know where to look for it.

Yes for some crazy reason (must have something to do with government money) they decided to redue every fricken highway interchange around the same time. Not to mention a forty mile stretch of 75 heading down to Findlay. It's gonna be so amaze balls when it's all done though. If only they would've put some of that money into fixing potholes I wouldn't have had to buy two rims and tires last year. FYI Toledo's downtown is pretty sweet and continues to get better and better. It could be considered charming I guess

He transferred high schools last summer for similar reasons--there wasn't much left for him to learn at the old school except how to cope with bad coaching and unskilled teammates.

They went 0-23 this year without him. Seems to me he's doing a pretty good job looking out for himself, so far.

"if he ends up in AA"

sounds like we're better off without him, if that's truly his reason. o$u is better off without him, too.

so fucking sick of supposed UM fans trying to make the Matta is on par with Beilein argument.

Motherfucker had Greg Oden and Mike Conley and a bunch of other sick talent.

He's been absolute ass without an all star lineup.

We say that we "live rent free in their heads" and they are obsessed with us. Then we post about a commit leaving them and even where Jabril lands has an osu "we almost beat them with 3 first rounders". Fuck them! Stop bringing them up. Geeze
