OT: NFL Sunday open thread; Loins v. Superchargers

Three things stand out in this game. 1. Aaron Glenn is one of the worst defensive coordinators in all of football. They have no chance of ever getting to a Super Bowl until he is fired or some organization is so dumb that they take him off our hands, 2. Ben Johnson is one of the most creative offensive coordinators in all of football. The Lions will be really lucky to keep him in the fold after this year. (Personally if you can pay players like you do, I’d give him a contract which would be very tough to walk away from, and 3. The Lions really blew it when they didn’t go all out to get somebody opposite Hutch. It’s easy to game plan against a defense that only has one threat to rush the passer.

Some win. I've seen the Lions in what feels like a million shootouts in my life but I don't think I've ever seen them win one. When was the last time they won allowing 35+ points?
EDIT: Week 1 2016 they beat the Colts 39-35. They had lost 24 straight prior to that.
