Not impressed with the D the past few drives

Defense must have thought the Lions had another bye week.

I'm at the hospital working my shift watching the NFL Network, watching the key highlights they show for the game. Saw the 4th and 5 we converted, the 4th on the 2 that we did not. This isn't good for my blood pressure, I thought to myself. Then a code was called that I had to participate in. No aneurysm yet.

I really wish the Lions had moved on from Aaron Glenn last off-season.

Nothing good has happened for the Loins since this thread was posted.

Our Loins are in first place, and have a very real chance of keeping it, while the Pats are 2-8. What a fascinating time we live in. 

Lion's secondary sucks ass today 

Looks like the Lions caught that PAC 12 disease out there in Southern Cal.

The stuff Glenn puts out there boggles the mind. About 1 in 4 games he'll call a game that makes any sense whatsoever. 

The amount of times he's lined them up in man with 2 CBs and a S playing 12 yards back vs trips is insane. It's free money for LAC.

They're also not afraid of anyone on that front 4. They started chipping Hutch but have since moved from that and are just going 1v1 across the board on passing downs. Nobody getting home before the secondary calls has left a target wide open.

Great response and a couple phenomenal plays from St. Brown.

Defense can’t get out of their own way. Not wrapping up on a 3rd-down sack. Dropped interceptions. Roughing the qb penalties. DPIs. It’s insane how they just can’t get off the field.

This secondary sucks so badly

Lions playing pretty well, but between Herbert going Chad Henne Cyborg and the ref show, it's a game.

Horseshit PI called on Sutton.  That was a turnover on downs.

Refs have aided two Chargers scoring drives. So if you're keeping score at home:

DET - 31
LAC - 17
REF - 14

That back judge needs to get got.

Also note the left guard was blocking Barnes 2 yards into end zone when that ball was thrown. Illegal man down field or OPI, your call.

The worst parts of these flags is they are results based.

Unbelievable goal line stand by Lions for 7 plays, with questionable pi call, to no avail on the 8th.  Charger coach is lucky and not that good.  Coach Campbell much better H. Coach imho.
