I will grant that Tampa is without Devin White, who is at least their second best defensive player and unarguably their best LB, but that doesn’t excuse how bad their defense looks tonight.

Hoping the bradys win, but it doesn’t bode well for any further advancement in the playoffs if they do win tonight.

I never count out Brady but I agree that it’s gonna be tough sledding for them to win another game unless their defense starts playing much better than they did tonight.

Tampa gets Devin White back next week from the COVID list. He has sideline to sideline speed that was very evidently missing from their defense tonight. So that’ll help.
That being said, that is likely offset by the fact that their next game is either at New Orleans or at home against LA. Both of those teams are leaps and bounds better than Washington on offense, and Tampa is an uninspiring 0-3 against both of them this year.
I do agree that Brady lives for postseason football, and no one knows how to win in January/February better than him. But the Tampa offense is going to have to be on fire next week regardless of who they play, because their defense does not scare anyone right now.

Saw where Chase Young hopped out there to make sure he talked with Brady and Arians. Hopefully he was telling them he shouldn’t have ran his mouth like that. I’d like to think he was making amends for a bad move on his part. Of all people, don’t talk crap to Brady dude.

Oh come on, man. I hate OSU players as much as the next guy, but saying “I want Tom!” hardly qualifies as talking crap. If he’d said that Brady was an old man, over the hill and not anyone to worry about, that would’ve been one thing and I’d be inclined to agree with you. But all he said was he wanted Tom.
The guy was just excited about going to the playoffs and playing against the best. I don’t blame him for that. Bruce Arians did playfully make a comment earlier in the week that Chase should be careful what he wishes for, but I hardly considered anything Chase said to be disrespectful.

I’d say he felt compelled to hunt them down after the game and chat for a few so my guess is he realize he did step out of line, even if marginally. I didn’t say he threatened to kill his family pet or anything.

Agree that it was not disrespectful. However, if you are going to talk the talk, you’d better walk the walk. Tom Brady delivered, the rookie did not. That is probably why it is just better to not call out an opponent, and try to make plays.
