final thing I'll say about the Lions as I watch but stopped truly caring (like I do UM games) when Barry retired. Just donkt prefer the NFL. Anyway, when it comes to the Lions most fans give shit to everyone but nobody mentions that one of our best players plays about 5 games a year TOPS. Delmas was an early 2nd rounder and the defense is so much better against the run and intermediate routes with him in but he never plays. Might as well be a cheerleader. It's like we break him our for kickoff weekend, the one or two nationally televised games that aren't Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving. In those games he is suddenly healthy. Every other F'n game he is not even dressed when a real coach would man him the fuck up or trade/cut his ass. Dude is a head hunter and I'd prefer our defense be mean and dirty than get walked on like we did that last drive. Delmas, more than any player, is the one that pisses me off. Well, after Young.
