I thought she was terrific in American Graffiti. Now I am sorry I missed her at Meadowbrook Theater the last time she was in town. R.I.P.

I'm sure this applies to a small % of MGoBlog readers but I realized awhile ago that the # of years between today and my birthday is greater than the # of years between my birthday and the end of World War I. So there's that.
RIP to Cindy Williams

In a lighter vein, I remember the day my looked at me in mock horror and commented, "good grief, I just realized I've been married to you for more than half my life"! Fortunately, she agreed it has been a happy ride.

Shit, first model T and Admiral Peary to the North Pole.

I was about to laugh at this, but then I did the math and I realized that the number of years between my bday and today and is greater than the number of years between today and the Great Stock Market Crash

This struck me as an interesting game, so I just did my own personal math. There have been 62 years since my birth in 1960. So if I go 62 years in the opposite direction, that takes me to 1898.
So basically, my life span in reverse takes me back to the Spanish-American War.
OK, I don't wanna play this game anymore.

Going backwards my current age from my birth date takes me to the eruption of Krakatoa.

For me, it takes us to the first classes being held at the University of Chicago. And the Dalton gang being gunned down in Coffeyville, KS.
Dang!

Here's a fun twist. My dad was 45 when I was born. I turn 45 on Friday.
Being presently a father to two teenagers, I could not imagine having a newborn as well!

Dang. I thought today was going to be a good day.
Titanic for me. Not the movie, the actual boat.

Also from my childhood: Lisa Loring who played Wednesday on The Addams Family passed today. Rough day.
May both RIP.

While both Cindy Williams and Lisa Loring are gone way too young, the loss today of 'Wednesday Addams'/Loring hits harder for me---I've always been a huge fan of the 60s "Addams Family" TV show, a lot more so than of "Laverne and Shirley".
May they both rest in peace.

Both the Adams Family and Munsters were on at the same time, almost for the same number of years. I was only 3 when they both went off the air but in reruns, I liked both. I think the Adams family humor was more adult orientated, so as a kid I may have liked the Munsters'.show better.

Speaking of adult oriented, Carolyn Jones' Morticia was hotter than hell. ("cara mia!")

My wife met her at a book signing years ago, and said she was very nice. RIP.

She was very close to being a movie star. Was always in the mix for big parts in the 70s, including Princess Leia.

Such a talented woman, rip 🙏

She was married to the Hudson brother who had also been married to Goldie Hawn, and who fathered Kate Hudson, making her Kate Hudson's stepmother. RIP Shirley Feeney.

Damn...always a crush on her and Dawn Wells (Mary Ann) growing up. Enjoyed watching L&S, HD, GI and IDoG (Barbara Eden, grrrr).

I would crack up every time she referred to something remotely risqué as smut. Thanks for the laughs Cindy.
