The research is pretty bad... something like 97-98% of all NFL players that have been examined have tested positive for "CTE."

and something around ~78% of ALL football players.

Enjoy these golden years. As much as I love this game, the writing is on the wall in the long term. Parents who see these stats and really think about them are largely not allowing their children to play football anymore. Unless we see some serious changes in the way this game is played or technological advances in concussion protection.... football is dead, and we're going to lose the most cerebral players first.

I hope we find a solution... so weird to remember the highlight videos when I was a child were the clips of whoever got hit in the most brutal fashion... now every time I see a hit like that I cringe.

Speaking of.... early in the game last night.... the panthers were driving, made it inside the 5, and the defender grabbed and basically ripped the guy's head off by the facemask. It was obviosuly intentional and a situation where the guy knew the penalty would be "half the distance to the goal"   ...  so a 2 yard penalty and the guy already had a huge first down.

Twisting someone's head around backwards by the facemask should be ejection-level shit.  I'm sick of hearing about cam newton's celebrations and all the other BS coming with it. I don't care if people celebrate touchdowns. These kids are literally sacrificing their lives for your entertainment. let them strike a pose.

"He wasn't the NFL's bitch". I think it was less of him proving a point, and more of that fact that the dude is just nuts.

This is not surprising, he is almost 30 and a running back. His career was just about done. Just like Peterson wasn't as effective at the end of the season and next year you can expect a decline. Lynch was going to either be a affected by injuries or age.

If you paid as much attention to stats as you do grammar you would see the decline in his production. In the biggest games at then end of the season he lacked explosion and power. He is 30 and next season he will be 31. He is on the decline.

Nothing compared to his popularity rank in Boston!  I'm surprised that CBS didn't cut away to that PIG to show his smile of glee when the classless fans booed Brady!  Good thing, tough guy Roger is so scared shitless, won't ever sit foot in Boston again.  Had NFL security call the local police in ME where he has a summer home to ask for extra security when the Brady decision was announced.  A douche with capital D and B!
