I just today saw Annabelle…

I just today saw Annabelle:Creation in the theaters, it's part of 'The Conjuring Universe' which are usually pretty good. Came out a few years ago but some theaters are re-releasing movies. (Also got to see The Empire Strikes back in theaters this weekend too which was a treat)

Maybe it was just being back in a movie theater for the first time in 6 months but I really liked Annabelle: Creation, very suspenseful and well made; and partially based on the true haunting of a doll which is just creepy.

Insidious is another good modern scary move. Midsommar too.

Halloween is a classic, but I think the "best" maybe not pure scariest, but best made one is Rosemary's Baby.

I totally agree, but it…

I totally agree, but it seems like the last few years when a guy has certain size and he thinks he can do well at the combine; he's gone. If one of these guys runs a sub 4.5 with their height and size, suddenly their mediocre college career gets washed away.

I'm not saying it's right; it's just the reality.

My favorite yesterday was…

My favorite yesterday was when people were suggesting Mike Leach should replace Harbaugh; and then Leach goes and loses a 32 point lead to an 0-3 team.

I mean, I love Leach and his Air Raid (clearly), and one game does not a career make, but WOAH. He lost 67-63 in regulation after being up 49-17.

I think subconsciously…

I think subconsciously Harbaugh has lost a little bit of that fire in him. As Mick said to Rocky, "he's not that hungry anymore." I think when he started at San Diego and Stanford no one believed in him, and Stanford was an underdog, but they built that team up and became a rival with USC. Then he goes to the 49ers and no one believes in him again, hell even his owner and GM were trying to sabotage him. But he still had a lot of success.

Then he comes to Michigan and all the sudden he's 'Home'. Everyone loves him, he's making a load of money, his kids go to his old elementary school, his parents live next to him, he's the King of Ann Arbor. Between that and the Prime series, Europe trip; I think he got a little fat and happy, and content. Maybe he didn't even realize it, but that mindset slowly creeps into the players and coaches.

I'm not saying fire him, but something has to change. It's happened to human beings so many times though where you have all this praise and admiration heaped upon you and it goes to your head, and whether you realize it not it makes you a little bit softer.

I'm shocked

I thought Robert Marve still had some eligibility left to play QB for Purdue

Non- Michigan: Seeing Nick

Non- Michigan: Seeing Nick Fitzgerald run over LSU in Starkeville was pretty fun. Florida ending was great too, especially with what they've been through the last few weeks down there.

Michigan: I really liked when Rashan Gary nearly manslaughtered Worthman and caused that fumble in the 3rd quarter.

My girlfriend and I watch

My girlfriend and I watch every episode of Teen Mom. Mostly to roast the show as it plays and to root for some of them to die in a blimp accident. So it entertains us, but only for a very dark reason.

One show I used to like was Scrubs; but now whenever I see re-runs on I can't stand it. I abhor it for some reason.

As in I hope that biopsy comes back benign!!

Congrats Taco!!

I had no idea his real name is ViDaunte, haha!

New GM Needed

This deal is dissapointing but not a disaster. KH got outfoxed, period.

If anything I think it just makes it more clear that the Wings need a new GM and new voice to commit to a rebuild. I doubt he will be fired before his contract is up, but after next year, SAYONARA!!

I'm pretty sure Shane Morris

I'm pretty sure Shane Morris would be leaving as a Graduate Transfer, so he's free to go anywhere he pleases. MSU, OSU or any other rival. If Malzone or some other underclassmen tranfers they would have to sit out a year and have restrictions put on them. But Grad tranfers are fair game to anyone. I highly doubt Shane would go to a direct rival though, maybe another B1G team

How about New England?

How about New England? Belichick & Co. have taken a chance on a lot of middling NFLers and turned them into productive players.

Legarrette Blount isn't trustworthy and is a FA. Steven Jackson is old and a FA so both are sure to be out of the picture. Dion Lewis is coming off a major injury. So RB is a need, unless they decide to address it in the draft instead.

Plus I'd love to see what Denard can do with a decent O-line in front of him. I doubt he'd be a featured back there, but he could put up Laurence Maroney type numbers for the next 5 years or so.

Great move by the agent, "Well, I can't make any more off him any more, so I should probably just ditch him during the point in his life where he needs people the most. Peace Out."

Not defending Manziel or his actions but DAMN, talk about a betrayal at your lowest point. Gutless.

Muschamp should hire Kiffen

Muschamp should hire Kiffen as OC, and Rob Ryan as DC in what will be the most overated coaching staff ever.

I could see him being gun-shy

I could see him being gun-shy about entering into another tumultuos Athletic Department situation, given what happened to him at Michigan. With all the behind the scenes BS and backstabbing that went on. If he's happy at Arizona, then why risk it?

Tons of great coaching hires

Tons of great coaching hires in the ACC this year. Fuente, Richt, Mendenhall, and now Babers. Sort of reminds me of the 2011-2012 coaching carousel in the PAC-12 when Jim Mora Jr., Rich Rod, Mike Leach, and Todd Graham were hired.

Pruitt may be a great

Pruitt may be a great recruiter, but if everyone know he's a "1 year stop-gap" would the recruits really come? Some might, but others won't because they know their DC isn't going to be around long. I think Michigan should (and will) hire a DC who's in it for the long term. Trying to project who will be a DC candidate in 2017 is just silly. Just hire the best guy for the job.

The way Mark Richt fell into

The way Mark Richt fell into Miami's lap was just amazing. Maybe not the flashiest hire, but a few years from now this one will be seen as the clear #1

This makes zero sense. There

This makes zero sense. There HAS to be some type of off the field issue, right? Why else would a non-power 5 school fire an alumnus and proven winner who has stayed loyal to ECU despite having chances to take higher paying jobs?

It took me about a half hour

It took me about a half hour to realize that was Ace on the podcast. He sounds like an actual grown-up real person; not like an overly excitable 14-year-old boy. Maybe he should record the podcast hungover more often.

Seems like the last 4 or 5 Will Smith movies have totally sucked and have been comercial flops. Probably won't be checking this one out.

Completely agree. Klinsmann

Completely agree. Klinsmann is doing a tough, yet necessary job; and is trying to move US Soccer into the next realm.

Kind of surprising that Michigan Football bloggers would be so short-sighted, and have such knee jerk reactions to a poor Gold Cup performance, after what Michigan Football has been through the last 8 years or so. You have to be patient and see the process through.

I don't think #91 should be

I don't think #91 should be retired. Federov was a great player, and deserves to be in the HofF, but I don't think he's a Red Wings legend like the other guys who have their number retired. Gordie Howe is considered one of the best players of all time. Abel, Lindsay, and Delvechhio are all legendary Red Wings. Sawchuk is one of the best goalies of all time and held the record for most shutouts until just a few years ago. Yzerman led the team out of the Dead Wings era and into the dynasty they are today. Lidstrom is probably the best defenseman ever (except Bobby Orr).

I just don't think Federov's accomplisments make him a legend with one of the most storied franchises in the NHL, or any sport for that matter. Maybe the Columbus Blue Jackets can retire his number or something.

Sad to say it, but just last

Sad to say it, but just last week I completely recreated the 2008 Michigan team on NCAA 14 and have been playing the next few seasons as the team that could have been. The Brandon Minor, Carlos Brown, Kevin Grady running back trio sure were a success those first few years.

I don't want to dredge up too many bad memories but from my limited experience as Rich Rodriguez's  virtual offensive coordinator while sitting on my couch and drinking a beer; Carson Butler sure could have been better utilized as a hybrid Tight End!!

People may rip on the new

People may rip on the new bowl games, but there is no better feeling than gettting out of work early on a random Tuesday in Mid-December and being able to watch a LIVE football game.

The CMU game last year at the Bahamas Bowl sticks out. So does the Memphis-BYU game,  two teams I knew little about and cared less about, but ended up being an amazingly entertaining game.

Better phrasing would have

Better phrasing would have been to say that the "Seahawks didn't go the extra yard on their investigations" or that they "passed on it".

My Dad and I went to a

My Dad and I went to a Lansing Lugnuts game during their first season or two in the late 90's, and between innings they had a high powered 'Hotdog Cannon'. One came right towards us so my Dad stuck his hand out but it was shot at such a high velocity that it slammed off his hand and nearly broke his thumb. I watched the Hotdog as it flew spiralling backwards about 5 rows and slammed directly into a little 5 year old kids face. I felt bad at the time, but I can't help but laugh now.
