Schefler going 0-2-2 can't happen. Though I don't know what more he or brooks could have done Friday afternoon.

I agree Bryson would have…

I agree Bryson would have been a much better match for Rory.  He would have made a difference for USA.

No Bryson or DJ made this an…

No Bryson or DJ made this an unlikely win. Put those two in for Burns and JT and this is a different match.

Bryson shot a 58 and won at…

Bryson shot a 58 and won at Greenbrier last month, he won last weekend in Chicago he is playing great golf.  I would take DJ experience over Burns, Harmon or Clark.  Just look at what Rose has done this weekend, it's the same reason I would like to have Bradley on the team.  Neither Burns or JT should be on the team over bryson and DJ.

No Bryson, Bradley or DJ,…

No Bryson, Bradley or DJ, this team doesn't have its best players. If they won it would have been a miracle.

This is why Davis hasn't committed yet. He is going to OSU.

Gopher fans care far more about Wisconsin and Iowa then Michigan. The ax and Floyd are much more important then the jug.

People forget that just 30…

People forget that just 30 years ago you wouldn't go to times square, central park or the magnificent mile due to crime.  My first trip to New York was 35 years ago to goto a Broadway play, my in laws who work in Manhattan told me to take all of the cash out of wallet except for a 20 dollar bill. That way if you get mugged you can give him your cash and go away.   On our way to the show we were robbed at gun point two blocks from times square.   At the time there was a lot of crime, drug dealers, and hookers in times square.

The people who want to defund the police do not remember/know how bad crime was at that time. Crime has continued to improve over the past 40 years.   Should it be tweaked, yes but this but the defund/ blow up movement is political and it is gong to cost people their lives.

Yes, enrolled in private…

Yes, enrolled in private school.  Every desk is 6 feet apart. Masks and social distancing will be strictly enforced.   Class size is 10-15 kids.  We are expecting to home school 4-5 times this year at two week intervals.   Our kids are very excited to be going back to school even with restrictions in place.   We have explained the expectations to our kids, we are excited for the school year.  Based on what the science says kids need to be in school.

Be reasonable when you leave…

Be reasonable when you leave the house.  Live your life, try not to spread the virus,  be a good citizen.   The zero death crowd is beyond crazy.

If there is no college…

If there is no college football this year you are taking away a year of development from all of those student athletes.  You are actively trying to prevent people from advancing themselves and improve their chances of getting drafted into the NFL.  Why would you do that to a group of people that the virus doesn't affect.  Let them play.

The government is turning on…

The government is workng on it.

According to the Journal of the American Medical Association influenza is worse for kids then Covid19.

This virus has a mortality…

This virus has a mortality rate of .4% for those 45 and younger it is not devastating for 2/3rds of the country. Stop the fear mongering, look at the data.  It is. 6% for those 55 and younger,  so being scared, protect those that are vulnerable and the rest of us get back to life.

It's this type of attitude…

It's this type of attitude that drives us further apart.  We need to come together as a country not five is further apart.   This left right crap is preventing us from having a better response to this virus.

In Illinois the Democratic…

In Illinois the Democratic party in McHenry county is fighting the governor on his stay at home orders and his revitalization plan.   It's not a Republican thing.

Look at rural areas such as…

Look at rural areas such as South west Minnesota where outbreaks occurred in meat packing plants.  They went from 2 cases as of Easter to 1400 cases for weeks later.   The state of Minnesota set up testing sites in the county and tested the anyone who needed a test.   The hospital systems haven't been stressed at all because nursing homes and long term care facilities weren't infected and now cases are going down.   Rural areas are very isolated and as long as the elderly are protected these surges are avoided

Did you see that…

Did you see that complications for children are occurring in less then 1%of cases.   There are a lot of bad outcomes that occur less then 1%of the time that we are ok.  How many kids have bad outcomes with the flu, taking ibuprofen, step, these bad outcomes are considered acceptable but apparently not with this disease.   If this weren't an election year we wouldn't be taking about it.

 The percentage of people…

The percentage of people/kids suffering from complications is similar to complications from flu/ibuprofen/Tylenol usage.  It happens but at such a small percentage it is considered acceptable.  It is televised to scare people, scared people watch the news.

The CDC states the mortality rate for those 55-45 is .6% for men .4% for someone.   45-35 is .4% for men .2% for women.  For those younger the rates improve.   This is including people with multiple comorbidities.   We need to protect those at risk and the rest of us need to move forward.

In North America we make…

In North America we make vitamin d naturally from the start of spring to the end on summer (if you can tan the uv rays are strong enough to produce vitamin d).  In one hour we make 40k iu of vitamin D.  After the first hour the uv rays destroy the vitamin D our body is synthesizing we then only make 10k ius a hour.  The sun is only strong enough to synthesize vitamin d between the hours of 10 and 4.   Don't shower immediately after you have been in the sun as it is believed that vitamin d can be washed out of your skin.

Here are the cdc statistics…

Here are the cdc statistics from China prior to March.

Here are the statistics looking at health care workers in the US from March to April

https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/69/wr/mm6915e6.htm?s_cid=mm6915e6_x#

The chart at the bottom of the page shows a similar mortality rate however the hospitalization rate dropped significantly, probably the reason why we didn't use all those field hospitals.

I am a Doctor, I go into…

I am a Doctor, I go into work three days a week.   In March it was five days a week, in April my mother in law moved out so I went to three days a week.   People are getting antsy/comfortable so work is getting busier again.  It won't be long until I am back to working four days a week.

Illinois had a primary on…

Illinois had a primary on the 17th.  We didn't blow up.  Wisconsin didn't turn out bad either.

 You can't compare NYC to…

You can't compare NYC to any other city in the country, the population density doesn't compare.   It compares to other Asian cities where they have to use different mitigation strategies.

More testing isn't being done because of a lack of supplies, this week the president forced two American companies to start producing swabs.

We are testing more people per 1000 persons than other countries that are opening.

The fact that people 55 and younger are so scared of a disease that has a mortality rate of .8% is ridiculous.  The media has convinced Americans that we are all going to die from this if you get it when the cdc statistics say that is definitely not the case.

I agree with flattening the curve and making sure hospitals don't become over run but when the media is scaring the crap out of people instead of stressing the statistics they lose my support.

China applied for the global patent in January.

My wife and kids are going tyo rent a place for a week in Hilton Head in June.  Prices are going to be dirt cheap and there won't be near the number of people.

If .001% get side effect xyz we are all going to get it, we are all going to die from this.   /s

Have you walked by people…

Have you walked by people outside or in the store?  People are looking at each other like they have the plague, people haven't been out of their house in 6 weeks due to fear of this and when they do they are terrified.  The psychological trauma is a big problem.

These people are the…

These people are the exception not the rule,  these are people with multiple comorbidities.  This happens to people who are unhealthy.   I know of 42 people who have had this disease including myself and children.  None of them required hospitalization or oxygen.  Stop being scared by the media.

The average of death is 80. …

The average age of death is 80.  We are doing this to save people who are going to die in the next year anyway.  The economical and psychological damage we are causing is much worse then this virus.

The virus isn't that bad…

The virus isn't that bad stop being so dramatic.

The two most liberal states…

The two most liberal states in the country (IL, &NJ) have the highest taxes and the most people leaving the state.  Two of the most read states GA&TN have some of the lowest taxes and are growing the most, I would add TX to that list too.

How about the former head of…

How about the former head of Monsanto running the EPA and after his term was up went back to his position at Monsanto.

Actually the experts said they have it under control.  It is a decision based on facts and science.

However if you get sick from that strain of flu you won't get sick from ever again.

Considering it costs 2000$…

Considering it costs 2000$ per test to get tested for Covid19.  I'm sure the treatment will be equally inexpensive.

Germany is having all 32 professional soccer teams returning to practice this week with games starting in May.  Played in empty stadiums.

I Illinois primary was March 17th after the stay at home order. .

The hurry is because if this…

The hurry is because if this continues for the next 4-6 weeks unemployment will be at 25% (levels not seen since the great depression).  Then there will be worse problems.

I live in Illinois, Pritzker…

I live in Illinois, Pritzker is complaining about the government not stock pilling more ventilators in February when his own public health experts said no one expected the outbreak at that time.   Meanwhile he has said he will be raising taxes in July.  Both sides suck.

At those times the CDC and…

At those times the CDC and the WHO were saying this was contained and it was not going to spread.  Once they changed their recommendations so did the president.   His decisions had been made based on the recommendations of these experts.

The serum anti body test is…

The serum anti body test is what we need to get us back to work.   It will also help those 65% of people that are either asymptomatic or presenting with atypical symptoms know if they can end this crap and get back to life.

He must be a Republican.

He must be a Republican.

Such a stupid comment, my in…

Such a stupid comment, my in laws are as liberal as can possibly be, they are 75 and they aren't taking it seriously.  Stop with this dumb rhetoric.  CNN, MSNBC are just as slanted as fox.  Take off your liberal glasses and stop that nonsense.  Just look at Jack Tapper on CNN not fact checking his sources on Sunday and spreading false rumors from Dem rep Alexandria Cortez he didn't stop her from lying on air, he just went with it because she is a democrat.  They are all slanted, it's just weather you agree with their political ideals.

It's really too bad the…

It's really too bad the regulations placed on the FDA by the Obama administration didn't limit the ability of the CDC to make better initial test.

I am a Doctor who also runs…

I am a Doctor who also runs my own practice and four weeks ago my wife came down with a cold,  aches, runny nose, fatigue that turned into a cough that lasted two weeks.  We went to the ER and requested to be tested but they refused.   The next week my kids and I all  developed colds.  We are wondering if we have already had it as well.  But without testing how do you know.

In my opinion we peak at 45 days and by 90 days herd immunity will start to have an effect, then the virus will cycle through the population the rest of the year until everyone is exposed by the new year.  I think that's why the sports leagues are talking about resuming in mid June.

Here is a study that shows people with type O blood type are less likely to get sick and less likely experience worse symptoms.  Tom Hanks is over 70 with type 2 diabetes and is recovering great 99%of people who get this are going to be fine.
